Just as he's lost in thought, his phone rings. He glances at the screen and sees London King's name flashing
william eilish (mc)
(answering the call) Hey, London. What's up?
london king (mc best friend)
(urgently) Dude, where are you? We have that project due today in art class!
william eilish (mc)
(rubbing his temples) Oh no, I totally forgot. What time is it?
london king (mc best friend)
(laughing) You're kidding, right? It's already 2 pm! We need to meet up ASAP and finish the project.
william eilish (mc)
(sighing) Alright, alright. I'll be right there.
As he hangs up the phone, William can't help but feel a sense of relief. The distraction from the mysterious note is welcome.
William spends the rest of the day working on the project with London. They manage to finish it just in time, and William feels a sense of accomplishment.
As the evening rolls around, William decides to grab a cup of coffee at a nearby café. He walks in, enjoying the warm atmosphere and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
As he waits in line, he feels a tap on his shoulder. He turns around, and his heart skips a beat as he sees Nicholas standing behind him, a sly smile spreading across his face.
Nicholas Gabriel Gomez (ML)
(leaning in, his voice low) Fancy running into you here, William
william eilish (mc)
(trying to play it cool) Oh, Nicholas. What brings you here?
Nicholas Gabriel Gomez (ML)
(laughing) Just getting a coffee before I head out. And I see you're doing the same
The barista calls out William's order, and he steps forward to collect his coffee. Nicholas follows him, his eyes never leaving William's face.
William can't help but notice the way Nicholas's eyes crinkle at the corners as he laughs
william eilish (mc)
For a moment, he thinks "Nicholas looks... handsome"
But he quickly shakes off the thought, reminding himself that he's a straight boy and shouldn't be noticing another guy's looks.
william eilish (mc)
"It's all Nicholas's fault," William tells himself. "He's just messing with my head."
