GABRIELLA'S POV

Alas, the competition is over. Luckily, our effort hasn't gone to waste. I'm too exhausted, I want to sleep as soon as I reach the house. After a few minutes, soon as the awarding ended we immediately went back to school. There I saw standing near the gate waiting for me. I'm so happy that my bestfriend cherished me as if I'm her sister. Lol! Self-recognition.

"Gabby", she called and waved at me . She ran into me and hugged me tightly. "Congratulations", she added.

"Thank you", I said. "Hey, it's 5 pm, already, are you actually waiting for me", I added .

"Nope, my driver's not still here", she said. I feel so embarrassed until she smiled and said " of course, I'm waiting for you. I want to be the first to greet you, I'm the first,right?"

"Nope, my brother", I laughed.

" Tssk, no, no, I'm the first girl to greet you", she said.

"Ho-ho,don't want to be defeated", I teased her.

"Of course, by the way, I have to go. My mother's been calling me", she said.

"Uh, sorry I kept you waiting", I said.

"No,no. It's my choice", she hugged me again.

"Thank you",I said and she ran to her driver's car and waved at me to say goodbye. I smiled at her and waved back.

TIMOTHY'S POV

So the competition has come to an end and we got the second place, I'm kinda disappointed but atleast I tried my best. I was about to jump from the bus when I saw Gabriella's tube left on her seat. She had forgotten about it. Kinda. When I tried to locate her, I saw her hugged by Jane. I'm kinda jealous, I wish it was me who hugged her. I waited for Jane to leave until I approached Gabriella who was by that time in a phone call. I gave her a hint by waving the tube into her direction.

She, after the phone call, came to me.

" Oh my, thank you. I've completely forgotten about it", she said.

"It's fine", I answered. "Who were you calling?".

"My driver", she answered.

"I see", I nodded.

Right, I wonder who're the people who approached her earlier.

"Are you going home already?", she asked me.

"Well, yeah. My driver is on his way so I guess I'll be taking my leave earlier than you", I said.

"I see", she answered.

"Why?", out of curiosity, I asked.

"Nothing", she smiled.

And so, my driver has really arrived and I took my leave. She was left there alone waiting for her driver. I don't want to depart but I can't make it obvious. So I left.

In the morning, it hit the schools bulletin board. Lots of gift and congratulatory letters made Gabriella's locker completely occupied. So, as to Timothy and Scarlette.

GABRIELLA'S POV

I saw Jane coming to my way.

"Hey, what's with you, you're making a worried face early in the morning", she teased me.

"My lockers flooding with letter, I'm afraid to open it", I said.

"Well,. that's what you get for being such a beautiful younglady", she teased me.

"I'm not", I insisted.

I didn't noticed Timothy when he arrived and I got surprised when he brought me a garbage can and put it in my front.

"Best solution", he sat and smirked at me.

"What should I do with this?", I asked him but I'm kind of got the sight of what he meant.

"Throw it in there", he added.

"Oi,oi.. I'm not as cold as you", I answered him.

"You ain't!?", he added .

"Uh", until Jane coughed. We both look at her.

JANE'S POV

Holla, what's going on again. Sometimes I can't understand this two. Just a few days ago, it's like there's a cold war happening between them. And now, they're this close again. Wow! what did I miss!

"ahem", I coughed intentionally.

They both looked at me.

"Looks like you two are back to normal", I teased them.

" What back to normal", Gabriella asked me.

"Just few days, you two has this kind of cold war, didn't you Gabby always tried to avoid him, uh uh?", I teased them.

"Tssk, asked your bestfriend. I didn't know what happened. She suddenly took a distance", Timothy answered.

Wow, it's the first time this man talked to me. I didn't he has this side.

"Wait, are you two..", but before I finished..

"No" , both of them shouted at me.

"Alright, I didn't even finished my sentence, how can the both of you shout at me", I replied.

"You should've made it clear", he said.

"Now, it's my fault", I insisted.

"okay, it's our fault, I'm very sorry.",Gabriella hugged me.

What can i do, this little girl hugged me.

A few days after, the school went smooth and they return to how it used to be. the bond of friendship between Timothy, Jane and Gabriella became stronger and stronger. They often are lunch together, snacks and often meet up. Gabriella and Timothy has been seen together most of time so rumours of them dating has occured. This pissed Scarlette.

SCARLETTE'S POV

This slut really makes me furious. Who the hell does she think she is? Let's see.

I'm really pissed off.

"Hey, have you heard? Gabriella and Timothy was seen together last night", a girl said .

"And it was said they we're dating already", another girl said.

"Have you noticed the change in Timothy's attitude, he's no longer the cold prince we know", another girl said.

"Of course, Gabriella is a good girl and becoming her as his girlfriend is such a nice event. It's maybe Gabriella who more him more attractive and approachable this time" another girl said.

"Wow! They're like the Prince and Princess of our school", another girl said.

"But didn't Scarlette said that Timothy and her was dating again, looks like it's all on her imagination", a girl insisted.

Scarlette heard about it and glared to those girls and the girls left immediately.

"This bitch...."

GABRIELLA'S POV

I was wondering why people kept looking at me and now I know why. Damn, I wish the rumours were true, but it's not. It just make my heart hurt. I was walking on the corridor when I saw Scarlette walking furiously on my direction. What the! She glared as if she's going to me. Is it about the rumours? What should I do.. Until she stopped before me and slapped me. it's too strong that I fell unto the floor.

"You bitch", she said .

"What's wrong with you", I said and stood up.

"haha, you're such a flirty woman, seducing one's man", she told me.

"sedu..", I'm pissed. " just as I thought, it's really all about the rumours!" I laughed.

"Can't you identify rumours from the truth, Timothy and I were just friends", I insisted. "And as far as I know, there's nothing between you two, so how can you say I seduced him. Don't you think you're being delusional?"

"You.." she's about to slap me again when Timothy arrived at hold her hand.

"Enough" he shouted. He looked at me worried and immediately shifted his attention to Scarlette. " What do you think you're doing", he said and threw away her hand.

"It's not me, it's her who started it", she said to him asking for sympathy.

"Liar, I heard everything on my way here", he said.

"No, believe me. She was trying to meddle between us.."

"There's nothing between us", he coldly cut what Scarlette was about to say . He took my hand and pulled me somewhere. I saw the embarassment in Scarlette's face when the others were talking behind her back. I think it made her more upset. I just wished to have a normal life, how did it turned like this.

In the corner..

" are you okay? Does it hurt?", he asked me. His eyes were warm.

"I'm fine, don't worry." I replied.

"What else did she said?", he asked me again .

"Nothing much! Just seducing you something like that.. She's funny!" I smiled.

"I'm sorry", he said.

"No,no. I'm fine. I'm used of rumours", I said. But he's so worried, and I can't bear to watch it. I hope his hand and said " Don't worry, friend, it's fine, it's just rumours anyways", I told him to cheer him up. "We're friends after all"
