"I want to change some of the rules..."Marian said then started giving space for Loyd's food (at the Refrigerator)

" What about it?" he asked.

" Ok, you can talk to me at school... and I'll allow you to sleep at my room... Don't misunderstand it! It's just you're hurt! L-lets eat then after that I'll apply the ointments at your back!" she said in a high tone

" You don't need to yell at me..." he said

Then they started eating....

" Put the ointments on the other parts of your body! I'm only gonna apply the ointments for your back!" she said

" I know, I know!" he replied...

" Come to me at my room after you finish doing that..." She said then entered her room

" I wonder, why would I save her? After all I despis-..... But.... Why do I feel like I don't despise her anymore.... I feel different so different from what I feel before.... Why do I feel irritated when that guy pushed her and touched her? Why?" he whispered to himself... " I can't understand myself" he added

_Room_

"It's embarrassing!!! But it's my fault that he's hurt! I have no feelings for him!! I'm just paying my debts! There's no other meaning!" she exclaimed

_the door opened_ (Loyd entered)

" Uhmm...." Loyd said

" Sit here...." Marian said

" O-ok" he replied (" Why do I feel embarrassed?") he sat*

" I'll apply the ointments..." she said the applied the ointments

"ok..." he said

......... it became quiet for a while ......

"What are you murmuring there before I entered?" he said *teasing

" I'm just thinking of how ugly you are..." she replied

" Ahh... I see, but what about... ' I'm just paying my debts! I don't have feelings for him!' Who's him is that?" he asked

" If course it's you! Don't think that I like you now just because I'm applying ointments at your back... I still despise you...." she said

" Yes, of course... You despise me..." he said (" but why do I feel sad because she despise me?")

" Sit properly!" she said the slapped his back

" Ouch!" He complained

" Sit properly!!!!!" She shouted

" Yes ma'am...." he replied

_next day_

_school_

" Have you heard a Grade 12 student was found lying here yesterday... And was badly hurt! He was in the hospital right now!" a girl said

" Oh? poor him...." another girl said

" And I also heard that he was in a critical condition" the girl said

" Good for him..." Marian said as she passed by

"Calling for Mr. Fuente and Ms. De Leon please come to the guidance office immediately...." announcer said

" We are called" Loyd told Marian

" Ok...." Marian replied...

" What do you think you're doing? Why did you hurt that guy?" the guidance teacher said angrily

" He attacked first..." he said

" But why is he in the hospital?" the teacher asked

" Because he attacked me..." he replied

" DON'T blame Loyd for this! He just helped me! That guy he deserve what he got! He attacked me! Loyd just helped me by pulling him away but he attacked Loyd!" Marian explained

" So he's the one at fault... Ok... Are you hurt?" the teacher asked

"Not badly" Loyd replied

" But the family of that guy complained!" the teacher said

" Ok... I'll pay for their bills..." he said

"Are you planning to tell this to Auntie?" Marian asked Loyd

" No!" he replied

". Where would you get money?" She asked

" I don't have to tell that I hurt someone.. I don't want to get scolded!" he replied

" So what do you plan to do?" she asked

" I don't know yet.. but I will get money from Mom soon or later" he replied

" Jerk" she exclaimed
