The Forgotten Princess’S Rebellion
Chapter 18
[Elsewhere – Cassius’s Chambers]
The fire flickered violently, casting jagged shadows along the stone walls. Cassius stood motionless, golden eyes locked onto the window, where the faintest trace of dawn spilled across the sky. He wasn’t looking at the sunrise. He was looking toward her tower
Cassius Shadow Guard
*His shadow guard knelt before him, head bowed, voice careful*
Cassius Shadow Guard
The princess spent the evening with the sorcerer. She left before dawn
"The report was expected. Still, Cassius’s fingers flexed at his side, barely restraining the urge to crush something in his grip"
"A man exiled. A man cursed. A man who should have no place near her"
Cassius Valenhardt (crown prince/ml 1)
(low, dark chuckle) Of course, it’s him
A silence followed, thick as blood
Cassius Shadow Guard
(hesitant) shall I intervene?
Cassius Valenhardt (crown prince/ml 1)
*Cassius exhaled slowly, as if calming a beast within himself*
Cassius Valenhardt (crown prince/ml 1)
(murmuring, darkly) No
Cassius Valenhardt (crown prince/ml 1)
"The word was a whisper of a promise, not mercy"
He stepped toward the table, fingers dragging across the smooth surface until they found the thin silver hairpin lying atop a stack of documents. Her hairpin. The one she had worn two nights ago
Cassius Valenhardt (crown prince/ml 1)
(whispering, eyes burning) She will come back on her own
Cassius Valenhardt (crown prince/ml 1)
*A smirk ghosted his lips as he twirled the hairpin between his fingers, golden eyes flickering with something dangerous*
Cassius Valenhardt (crown prince/ml 1)
(voice sharp as a blade) And when she does… she will learn that no one touches what’s mine
[Seraphina’s Chambers – The Next Morning]
Seraphina Valenhardt (princess/fl)
"Seraphina stood before the mirror, fingers lightly tracing the delicate fabric of her sleeve. She looked the same. And yet, she felt different"
Lucien’s voice echoed in her mind from last night
Lucien D’Arcy (sorcerer/ml 3)
(whispering in the darkness) You were never supposed to exist, little princess. Do you think fate will let you rewrite a story that never belonged to you?
Seraphina Valenhardt (princess/fl)
"She had scoffed then. She wasn’t afraid of fate"
Seraphina Valenhardt (princess/fl)
But now?
Seraphina Valenhardt (princess/fl)
Now, she wasn’t sure who she should be afraid of
A sharp knock at the door interrupted her thoughts. Before she could respond, it swung open
Kieran Valtor (knight/ ml4)
*His gray eyes swept over her, stormy, unreadable. And then the door clicked shut behind him*
Seraphina Valenhardt (princess/fl)
(raising an eyebrow) You could try waiting for permission
Kieran Valtor (knight/ ml4)
(calm, but darkly firm) And you could try not slipping away in the middle of the night
Seraphina Valenhardt (princess/fl)
*She sighed, turning back to the mirror, but he didn’t let her ignore him*
In one swift motion, Kieran closed the space between them, his hand coming up to brush the strands of silver hair from her shoulder
Kieran Valtor (knight/ ml4)
Seraphina Valenhardt (princess/fl)
*She froze*
Kieran Valtor (knight/ ml4)
*His touch was warm, firm, possessive*
Kieran Valtor (knight/ ml4)
(soft, but unwavering) If you run again, I will come find you
Seraphina Valenhardt (princess/fl)
*Her breath caught*
Seraphina Valenhardt (princess/fl)
(tilting her head, voice light but challenging) Would you drag me back?”
Kieran Valtor (knight/ ml4)
(low, dangerous)Crawl, run, or resist—I don’t care. You’ll still end up exactly where I want you
Seraphina Valenhardt (princess/fl)
(soft, defiant) And what will you do when I make you want to chase forever
Kieran Valtor (knight/ ml4)
(low, a whisper against the charged air) Then I’ll make sure you never outrun me
Seraphina Valenhardt (princess/fl)
(mocking, yet laced with something else) Careful, Sir Knight. Obsession is a blade that cuts both ways
Kieran Valtor (knight/ ml4)
*Kieran stepped forward, close enough that she could see the flicker of something raw beneath his usual restraint*
Kieran Valtor (knight/ ml4)
(soft, dark amusement) Who said I mind the pain?
Seraphina Valenhardt (princess/fl)
"She should have pushed him away. Should have reminded him of his place. But Seraphina had seen it—how his pulse quickened at her nearness, how his breath hitched at the way she held his gaze without flinching"
Seraphina Valenhardt (princess/fl)
"And she knew
Seraphina Valenhardt (princess/fl)
She wasn’t the prey in this hunt
Seraphina Valenhardt (princess/fl)
She was the lure"
[Meanwhile – In the Grand Halls]
Elias Ravenspire (grand Duke/ml 2)
"Elias leaned against the railing, wine glass twirling between his fingers. From this height, he could see everything. The way Cassius had been pacing like a caged beast. The way Kieran had slipped into the princess’s chambers without hesitation"
Elias Ravenspire (grand Duke/ml 2)
"And the way Seraphina—his darling little troublemaker—was unraveling the careful order of this world"
Elias Ravenspire (grand Duke/ml 2)
"He smirked"
Elias Ravenspire (grand Duke/ml 2)
(murmuring to himself) How quickly the wolves turn on each other when the lamb stops running
Then, he saw her. Silver hair gliding past the corridor below, unaware of the chaos she was causing in the hearts of men who had once been untouchable
Elias Ravenspire (grand Duke/ml 2)
*His smirk widened*
Because they weren’t just watching her anymore
Or maybe they already did?
Elias Ravenspire (grand Duke/ml 2)
Elias (low, amused) Little princess… how long will you keep running before you realize you're already caught?
Elias Ravenspire (grand Duke/ml 2)
"A dark, wicked glint flickered in his crimson eyes"
Elias Ravenspire (grand Duke/ml 2)
"Because he already knew—she would never be able to choose
Elias Ravenspire (grand Duke/ml 2)
And that made her even more his type"
Author 💬
"Chains of silk are still chains… but tell me, princess, do you truly wish to escape, or are you waiting for the right monster to catch you?"

The words and lines you put in your story are truly amazing but i also suggest that you should focus more on the scenes of the story make it more less poetic /Smile/
