The dark hall was filled with greedy eyes. A bright light shone on the fragile girl, her wrists tied, her dress dirty. Tears rolled down her pale cheeks as she trembled. Rough voices called prices, their stares making her shrink in fear.

Her doe innocent eyes filled with tears were looking for help but the only thing she got was lustful gazes from those hungry men.They looked as if they were ready to pounce on her any moment
He sat in the shadows, his shrapnel-hunter red eyes locked onto the trembling girl. Unlike the others, his gaze wasn’t filled with hunger...it was cold, sharp, and unreadable. His jaw tightened as he watched her shake, her innocent tears glistening under the harsh light.
His fingers tapped against the armrest, a silent storm brewing inside him. For the first time, his crimson eyes wavered—not with weakness, but with something dangerous.
She didn’t belong here. And no one else would dare lay a hand on what was now his.
