My heart beats so fast as if its about to explode. Im trying to act calm. The person asks me, “is this what you want?”. And yes! Its a male voice!! Omo! Relax emily! “Yes.” I reply. His hand reach it. I slowly turn back with a red face . When i turn back, the man is wearing a hoodie, he put the hood on and people hard to recognise it. But with my sharp eye, i can tell that he is unbelievable handsome! OHMYGOD! I thank him with a cute voice. Imagining he’ll say “I’ll do anything for a cute girl” AAAAA!

Then a voice say “for what?” Suddenly the voice breaks my daydreaming . The voice is coming from him, -handsome stranger-.

I awkwardly say “because you’re helping me to reached the Nutella”.

“You think im helping you? Im taking this nuttela for me to buy it. Looks like the last jar is not yours” he say while smirking at me. He walks away without feeling any guilty. Im still standing there blurry. I cant believe that he said that to me! I thought he was a gentleman! Gosh why is men nowadays are mean! Except for senior Lucas. Senior Lucas is so famous among female doctors in the Blossom Hospital because of his handsome face and his kind attitude towards girls makes everyone in the town melt by his charm! To be honest, senior Lucas and I are kinda close because we were neighbors until he had to move out :( . I do have a secret crush towards him but I know he doesn’t like me at all. He treats me like his little sister as we have a 2 years gap. But i know he don’t have a girlfriend. So, Im just waiting for him to notice my feelings :,(. Back to the reality, i end up didn’t buy the nutella! Thanks to that jerk🙄!

Day by day, I’d already forgotten the jerk. Im living my normal life.

My shift has over. Im going back to my home to have a rest. Suddenly, i got a call from mom. She wants me to join over her dinner with her friend at a restaurant. Well, as a obedient daughter, of course i have to come.

The night has come, i already in front of the restaurant but hesitate to come in because im preparing to be asks by her friend “do you have a boyfriend yet?” Ugh 😑i hate that question.

I come in the restaurant searching where is their table. Unfortunately, the jerk that i met at the market is here too! OMG why did you have to appear in front of me again! I try to not meet him. But we end up meeting in front of the restroom! He still remembers me and smirks again. I swear to god i hate his smirk!

I say to him “what are you doing here” even though i knew that he has the right to eat in the restaurant too but idc acting like the restaurant is my father’s lol.

“I have to meet someone.” He replies . I don’t expect him to replies my question. Well, a jerk like him usually go away.

“You must be meeting your girlfriend, well im certain whoever will be your wife will have a miserable life with a jerk”. Oof didn’t see that coming from my mouth. I usually not this mean but i dont know how, my mouth just moving automatically saying something that i never think of. Well, tbh im not that mad because of a nuttela, but I don’t know what happened to me🤷🏼‍♀️.

He just walks away with no expression on his face. Im certain that his heart is froze and black, that’s why he dont have any expressions after hearing that -kinda-horrible-words.

Finally, after searching for a while, i found my mom’s table. But why is dad, and another thr-THREE? friends is there too? She only said “friend”. My mom saw me and waves at me. I just walk near and sit on my chair. I can see there is a -veryveryvery-happy-smile on dad’s face as if his smile almost reach his ear lol. I can smell that something bad will happen. And in front of me, there is a pair of around my mom’s-age couple that is my mom’s friends. But who is another man sitting between them? He seems suspicious, he covers his face with the menu book. I try hard to see his face but i need to cover as i dont want my mom thinks i like that man or whatever (my mom is a professional overthinker). Why is this man is sooo strange? Im getting more curious.

His parents notice his behaviour that is hiding his face. His mom takes away the menu book. A N D-

THE MAN IS THAT JERK! MORE EMBARRASSING IS I HAVE SAID SOMETHING MEAN TO HIM! OH MY GAWD WHY IS IT HAS TO BE HIM? Im done making my self embarrassed😭 . That’s it. Im gonna leave this world! AARGH WHERE DO I HAVE TO PUT MY FACE AT?

Im trying to act like there is noting happened but i cant! I keep drink the water with panic. Panic has been written clearly on my face. Damn!

My mom notices it and asks me what’s wrong? I just smile and say its nothing. I can see he is laughing a little. I KNEW SOMETHING BAD GONNA HAPPEN! Aaaaaaargh.

But, why is he’s here too? Why did he come with my mom’s friends?
