Marcos and Aline looked at the businessman, perplexed at having been discovered.

"" Mr. Willians?

Marcos quickly gets out of bed, wrapping himself in a sheet; Aline does the same.

"" My God, Mr. Willians! This isn't what you're thinking at all! Aline was feeling unwell and fainted in the office, so I brought her here to rest.

Brendon looked at them with eyes full of anger and disappointment.

At the company, Simone had already informed Brendon by phone about the interview with the new secretary, suggesting he could participate. But Brendon decided to let Simone handle everything, as he trusted her business acumen to find a good employee. And it was no wonder, as Simone had worked with Brendon in the HR department for eight years. It was difficult for him to find an employee as well-prepared as she was.

Brendon decided to have lunch with his friend Anthony Garibaldi. Anthony owned several nightclubs and discos in Sao Paulo.

"" Good afternoon, my friend, "" Brendon firmly shook Anthony's hand upon meeting him at the restaurant.

"" Good afternoon, my friend Brendon, I'm just coming from a business meeting, "" Anthony announced, quite excitedly.

The two men sat down, drawing glances from the people around them.
