The neighbors were either gone for the day, or in their houses.
There was no one around when Taehyung walked past, and he decided it was for the best.
This way, he won't be forced to exchange pleasantries with those poor old ladies who reside in the house opposite theirs.

*The house was quiet when he walked to it, so he deduced his mother was likely knocked out or wasn't around*
This way, he can easily sneak into the house, and change before he goes to work.
Meeting his mother most times spoils his mood, so he was happy it won't be the same as the last time he left in anger
