The house was bustling with excitement. Meera’s family had arrived early in the morning to begin preparations for haldi. Aromatic flowers and vibrant yellow decorations filled every corner. The sun was high in the sky, casting a warm glow over the festivities.

Meera and Aarav sat at the center on intricately decorated stools, in yellow drapes, marigold garlands and flower rangolis. The air buzzed with excitement as family and friends surrounded them, bowls of ‘haldi’, mischief in their eyes

In that case, Aarav, you’re about to be the happiest man alive (smirked by grabbing handful of haldi)

Before aarav could protest, Kabir smeared haldi all over his face, making crowd erupt in laughter, happiness was seen all over the place.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Meera was having her own battle. Rohan, her younger brother grinned wickedly before sneaking behind her and smearing turmeric all over her nose.

(teasing from beside) I already am😚😚

Meera turned, her eyes locking with his, and for a moment, everything else faded away, just love speaking many words with eyes

Before Meera or Aarav could react, their cousins and friends picked up buckets of water and splashed them both, washing away the turmeric in a burst of laughter and squeals

As the sun dipped lower, casting golden hues across their faces, Meera’s father Raj, walked up to her

After chaotic yet joyful haldi ceremony and dances, the guests slowly dispersed leaving Meera and Aarav with rare moment of peace amidst the wedding frinzy. They stole away to a quieter corner of the garden, the last rays of sunlight painting them in a soft, golden glow

(grinning as he wipes a bit of turmeric from cheeks) You know, yellow suits you. But I think I prefer the way you blush. (Kiss on her forehead and side hugs her into his arms)
