At the campus roof

The rooftop is quiet. Too quiet. The wind howls, carrying the promise of something dangerous.

Alarica steps forward, arms crossed, unbothered. Or at least, she looks that way. She knows she’s walking into a trap. But she’s never been one to back down.

Kael is already there, leaning against the railing, waiting.

Ronan stands beside him, arms folded, watching with mild amusement.
