Chapter 5

The next day

Like yesterday, when Minhwa enter the classroom, Taemin was there, staring at her. Their eyes meet for a while and then Minhwa avoid his stare. She's still pissed about yesterday accident. Minhwa move to her place. Which she don't like, not because the desk is torn up, but because it next to the loose mouth. She take a seat and look out the window.

Taemin know that she's mad at him. When he watch her behaviour towards him, he feel angry. But, he control his anger when he thought back what he had done.

"Woo Minhwa, I need to talk to you", Taemin put down his ego and ask her.

'huh? What a shameless person' "I need to go to the toilet", answer her and move out of the classroom. 'do you it easy?'

"hey, wait!" Taemin want to stop her but he was a bit late. He's got so angry when he was treated that way. He kick his desk real hard and at the same time, Jungki enter the class. He shock.

"whoah, why are you so angry early in the morning?"

Taemin didn't expect that Jungki would arrive at that time. He calm himself down and say, "it's nothing"

Jungki sigh. Of course, he won't tell him. Just then, he saw Minhwa bag at her seat.

"did Minhwa arrive already? Where is she ?" ask Jungki and Taemin just reply, "toilet". Jungki wonder if there's something going on between them. Just like yesterday, Taemin was asking her phone number, even on class group so persistently.

When Minhwa back from toilet, it's already crowded. She take her seat. Taemin don't want to lose the chance. He stand right in front of her.

"I need to talk to you. Follow me."

"whoah, did Taemin just talk to her politely? He even use the honorific." "really?" "what is this?" Everyone in the classroom didn't expect it and shock at the unexpected scene. Even Jungki raise his head. Chaeun look back since Minhwa's desk is behind hers.

Seeing the situation, Taemin and Minhwa feel discomfort. Taemin grab Minhwa's hand ask her to follow him. He drag her without care about the noise their classmates makes. Just when he's about to open the door, teacher Soogeun come in. "where do you want to go?" he look at Taemin hands and Taemin quickly dissolve their hands.

"why are you here? Your lesson in our class start at the seventh and eighth period today" say Taemin and frown a little.

"I know. But today, I'll teach in first and second period too as your sub-teacher, replacing teacher Sangwoo. He's absent today. Now get back to your seat. I'll start teaching now." explain him sarcastically. He knows that those students doesn't like him. 'do I care?' mock him in his mind.

Everyone move to their seats including Taemin and Minhwa.

'argh! I lost my chance again. Its all because of that stupid teacher.' Taemin is in rage but he didn't sound it openly. If he does, maybe he can't take the math exam.

Break time

Right after the bell ring, everyone in the classroom rush out to buy their lunch. Except Minhwa. She stay at her seat and open her bag. She look for something and mutter 'eh, where's my lunchbox? Aish, I forgot it. I put it on the table this morning. I have to go to the cafeteria now, but I don't want to meet that punk. Should I just miss my lunch? Huh, no can do. I won't hunger myself just because of someone like him.'. She then move out from the class and go to the cafeteria.

Minhwa only buy a bread and a drink. After that, she move quickly. She want to get in the classroom as soon as possible. But luck wasn't on her side, Taemin saw her first. He get up and run toward Minhwa. He grab her wrist.

"I need to talk to you"

"I got nothing to say" answer Minhwa and look straight to his eyes.

"but I do. Come with me" Taemin getting forceful. "no!" Minhwa protest and try to break free but Taemin's hand force is too strong. People at the cafeteria keep watching them. It's a rare drama after all.

"ah, Woo Minhwa right? The principle ask you to go to his office.", suddenly someone interrupt them. It's the school officer.

"oh, really? Thanks, I'll go now," Minhwa snatch her hand by force and walk fastly. She know where that is. She has been there to register herself.

'damn it!' curse Taemin inside. Why doesn't things go as he plan? He give a deathly glare at the officer who interrupt them just now. 'stupid'.

Knock, knock!

"come in." given the permission, Minhwa enter the office room and greet the principal.

"good morning, sir. I heard that you want to see me."

The principle raise his head. He smile then say, "yes, I do. Take a seat. I have something to ask you." Minhwa take her seat just as she told to and wait for the principal to speak.

"whwn you register for your application and transfer 3 days ago, didn't you register for 2 people? Where's the other one?" ask the principal.

"didn't I said that she will enroll school a bit late?" ask Minhwa back. "yes, you did tell me that, but you didn't give the reason. If the registration is without a strong reason, it'll be taken back."

"well, she should be here with me right now, but she's comatose. So, the registration won't be taken back, right? The possibility that she'll survive the coma is 20%,but I registered her just in case she woke up."

"oh, really? Okay, but if there's a new student transfer here, I can't promise you that we will keep that place. This is a regular school, not a private one. Please understand."

"oh, okay. I understand." Minhwa feel a bit disappointed. "ah, if there's nothing else, I'll go first. I need to have my lunch."

"oh, yeah, I forgot. Sorry for interrupting your lunchtime" "it's okay", say Minhwa with a smile and excuse herself. 'aish, I'm hungry' thought her.
