Chapter 4

School time end. Now it's time to go back home. Taemin want to prepare for his exam. He want to show his stepsister how clever he is. From childhood, his stepsister has always been the dumbest in kindergarten. They haven't seen each other for along time now. He forget her name and face already.

While he's on his way to get his bike, his cousin, Han Chaeun stand right in front of him. Actually, Taemin doesn't like his cousin. She's clingy and always think that she's a princess.

"Taemin, where are you going?" there she go, sweeten her voice. Other guys might think it's cute. But for Taemin, it disgust him.

Chaeun is really brave. No one dare to approach him before. Everyone knows how bad temper Taemin is.

"None of your business. Go away!", Taemin harden his voice.

"yah, Han Taemin, I just ask where are you going. Why are you so cold towards me?" the climax the drama queen cry. She doesn't really care about the tears will disturb her make up because hers is waterproof.

"hey, I don't give a damn. Even if you tears blood, I will never care. If you want to cry, get out of my way." say Taemin harshly.

He whisper, "you know, I hate fake the most." in Chaeun's ear and walk past her. After the words, her real tear flows. She know that Taemin is bad tempered, foul mouth and don't care about others, but she is his cousin. Couldn't he be nicer?

Taemin get his bike and start paddling. When he's out of the gate, he saw Minhwa stand beside the wall. Look like she's waiting for someone. He stop right in front of her.

"who are you waiting for? Your father ? Still need parents to pick up at school, huh?" say Taemin and laugh. He forget that Minhwa already lost her parents.

After hearing that word, Minhwa's heart ache. She feel mad and sad at the same time. And then, her tears begin to fall out. When Taemin realise Minhwa's tear, he suddenly feel guilty. He doesn't know why. Even Chaeun's tears can't soften his heart, how can this girl can?

"Do you have fun playing with dead people? I can't believe that there's such a loose mouth person." say Minhwa bitterly and at the same time, a taxi arrive. She get in and the taxi driver drive away.

Taemin is wondering about her word. Dead people? Suddenly, he remember about Minhwa's story. She lost her parents already.

Don't know why but his heart aches so much. He feel pain from the inside. The feeling of guilt is rushing through his heart.

'why did I say that? Oh, I'm sorry' he can only say that in his heart. Then, he start paddling with so much in his head.

Woo's residents

As soon a s Minhwa close her house door, she fall on her feet. So much pain to bear. She cry nonstop.

'how could he say that? He's so cruel!'

Han's residents

Taemin arrive at his house. He go to his room. He has something he needs to deal with. He lie on his bed and open up his phone. Taemin open up the chat box and text Jungki.

"Jungki, do you have the transfer student's number?"

Jungki, from the other side, feels weird. The Taemin he knows never ask for someone's number. Especially a girl.

Jungki reply, "Minhwa's number? No, I don't. I haven't got chance to ask yet. Try to ask from the class group. Maybe some of them have it.

Right after Taemin read the text, he thought 'urgh, such a hassle. But, he still listen to Jungki' s suggestion.

" hey, it's Taemin. Is there's anyone from here has Minhwa's phone number?

Everyone's in the class group in shock. What? Taemin is asking for Minhwa's number? But they still reply the text.

" No, I don't "

" nope! "

" I haven't ask her"

"why would you want her phone number?"

"I think no one have it"

The message is coming like a flood. Chaeun feel angry they he ask for Minhwa's number. Taemin read every single message and he can see that no one has her phone number.

"okay"

Taemin sigh. If only he haven't said that, he wouldn't be need to went through some hardship. He is also wonder about act. Why did he act like this? That's aren't the first time girl cry because of him. His head is in a mess.

'what should I do now? Urgh, let's just wait for tomorrow. I will apologise to her face to face.' plan him. While Minhwa, from the other side, plan, 'I should stay away from him, starting now. I will drop the honorific, because he doesn't deserve my honor. If I'm still be with him, troubles come, I wouldn't want that. Just wait, you idiot!'

And then, Taemin hear that the door being unlocked. He goes out of his room and saw his parents just came home.

"dad, you didn't go to work today?"

Siwon look at him. "no, I took a leave. I got something important to do." "oh yeah, dad. The funeral is handled here right? Can I come to the funeral to light some incent."

"No, you can't!" shout Siwon loudly. Sound like he's angry. Taemin startle.

"why are you so angry? I'm just asking. She's also my mom! Ah, forget it." reply Taemin angrily. 'what's wrong with him? I just ask him permission to visit the funeral. Maybe, if I'm lucky, I can meet my sister. Urgh, such a nuisance'
