"Ms. Khanna, can you tell us why you did so? Why did you release such a treacherous criminal on a bail?"

"Ms. Khanna, have you grown some hidden or secret sympathy towards him that you suddenly bail him out after 5 years?"

*eyes fixed at the TV*

Reporters were showering me with questions.

Cameras were flashing on me.

And I was walking through them silently getting squeeze between them.

I got no one to cover up for me!

"Please Ms. Khanna bataiye hame! Jis insaan ko aapke wajah se gunhegaar thehraya gaya tha usi ko aapne 5 saal baad kyu begunah banake riha karwaya? (Please Ms. Khanna tell us! Why did you get the person who was convicted because of you, released as innocent after 5 years?)

I halted as soon as she asked me so in the screen.

The high court building behind me was getting seen on the camera and I was still in my lawyer's uniform.

"Ese sangin mujrim ko aapne akhir kyu churwaya jail se ye jaante hue bhi ki us insaan ne apni hi hone wali biwi ka behrami se khoon kiya tha?" (Why did you release this culprit even after knowing that he had brutally murdered his own soon-to-be wife?)

"Akhir kya rista hai aapka unke sath jiske chalte aapne unhe begunah saabit kiya?" (After all, what is your relationship with him due to which you proved him innocent?)

*on TV* Koi rista nahi hai meri unke sath aur aap log baat ka batangar banaana band kijiye.*frown to the reporter* (I have no relationship with him and you guys please stop making a mountain out of a molehill!)

Aur mene wahi kiya jo ek begunah insaan ka hak hai!*strictly said on news* (And I've done that only which is a right of an innocent person!)

I said on the news

"To phir kya aap ye kehna chahte hai ki woh sachme ek begunaah the? Aapne islie to unhe jail se nahi churaya kyuki aapko pachtawa ho raha tha ki aapne ek begunah ko saja dilwaya?" (So then do you want to say that he was really an innocent? Did you steal him from jail because you felt remorse for having punished an innocent man?)

I couldn't reply more.

Just then luckily a constable coms forward and helped me heading towards my car through the heavy crowd of reporters.

"To dekha aapne ki Ms. Ladli Khanna iss high profile case ke mujrim Evan Khurana ke jail se chutne ke maamle me kese chup rahi!" (So you saw how Ms. Ladli Khanna remained silent on the issue of release of Evan Khurana, the accused in this high profile case!)

"Kya Ms. Khanna ko Evan Khurana ke taraf se koi pesa mila tha ya fir baat kuch aur hi hai?--" (Did Ms. Khanna receive any money from Ivan Khurana or is it something else--)
