I glanced behind me only to find two men running towards my hiding spot. They had sent two after me this time. I smiled they always underestimate me. I've been stealing from this gang a while now and they still cant stop me. Its kinda sad really. I can feel my heart beating in my chest. I slow my breathing observing the men. One has a dragon tattoo up his right arm, a plain black shirt stretching against his chest, and a knife in each hand. The other is rather small, toting a teenage mutant ninja turtle shirt obviously from the children's section. He had a rifle in his hand, and two handguns, one in his boot while the other sat just below his waist in a gun holster. The two men cautiously walked down the alley back to back before turning the corner. I heard a deep voice shouting where'd you go little bitch, the smaller guy put his hand on the shouting man's forearm, don't get agitated it won't make any difference, he let out a deep sigh and visibly calmed down before saying yeah I know. I climb up to a nearby balcony before throwing my bag up to the roof following soon after, shouting dudes just kiss already I can feel the sexual tension from here. I laid down on a roof top across from the fifth street bridge in case they came today, the sun shone brightly as it began to dip beyond the horizon, kissing the sky, leaving red and orange hues in its wake. I checked the bridge no one there, leaving my bag on the roof I crept down searching for a familiar mop of blonde hair, finding it I asked the man if he had seen any men on the bridge, he stared for a moment before I realized the vagueness of my question, hehe sorry, have you seen a man with a Dragon tattoo on his right arm or a really small skinny man, he shook his head before asking a woman and her child if they could spare a few coins, the woman looked at him with pity before tossing a couple dollar coins into his bowl, he thanked the woman as she walked passed him. I handed him some twenty dollar bills thanking him and asking him to keep an eye out for them, I took two steps before faceing the man again "if you do happen to see them could you give them the usual". He smiled before nodding, you know miss, I've never met a kinder soul than you, you always give us more then what we need to sustain ourselves. I sighed I've told you this time and time again life isn't about sustaining your selves you have to live, have fun, I smiled gently before slowly turning and Georgie don't call me miss you make me feel old, his laughter carried across the empty street.
