(ignoring Kai, sitting on the couch with his arms crossed, staring ahead, not acknowledging Kai's presence)

Kai

(softly, sitting down beside him but keeping his distance, voice tinged with guilt)

Kai

Zane... I really need you to hear me right now.

Kai

I know I messed up. I never wanted you to feel like you’re not a priority.

Kai

Can we talk about this?

Zane

(silent, eyes fixed on the floor, trying to avoid looking at Kai, still too hurt to respond)

Kai

(sighing, his voice trembling as he tries to hold back tears)

Kai

I’m sorry...

Kai

I never wanted to push you away.

Kai

I was just so stressed with work and everything... but that’s no excuse. I should’ve communicated better.

Zane

(still silent, the pain in his heart weighing him down, not sure how to let go of the anger)

Kai

(closing his eyes, his voice barely audible as he mutters to himself)

Kai

Please… I’m sorry, Zane.

Kai

I don’t want to lose you over something like this.

After sometime

Kai

(lying on the bed, facing away from the door, tears streaming down his face. His mind racing with guilt and regret)

Kai

Why isn’t he talking to me?

Kai

Why can’t he see how sorry I am?

Kai

Why does it feel like every time we fight, I push him further away?

Zane

(peeking through the door, his heart heavy with emotion as he watches Kai cry, feeling torn between his anger and the love he still feels for him)

Zane

I can’t stand seeing him like this... but I just don’t know how to fix it.

Zane

I don’t know how to make him understand how hurt I am.

Kai

(softly, through tears)

Kai

I didn’t mean to make him feel like he wasn’t important...

Kai

I don’t know how to make things right.
