Everything was falling apart, and it felt like the world was crumbling around him.

Taehyung picked up the sobbing Jungkook in his arms and carried him with him, leaving the burning husk of the Jeon mansion behind.

Jungkook didn't resist, his mind still blank and numb with grief and shock. He just let Taehyung hold him, his body shaking with each racking sob.

Taehyung sat in the car, pulling the weeping Jungkook onto his lap and wrapping his arms around his waist.

There was no guilt in his eyes, only a sense of possession as he held onto what he now considered to be his.
