Maybe Elliot had a point. But Sebastian wasn’t sure if he could afford to believe in fairy tales.
He sighed and looked around the room, wondering how much longer he would have to endure this place before he could go back to his office and deal with something a little less... romantic.

Later that evening, as the guests began to arrive, Elliot couldn’t help but glance over at Sebastian from across the room. He was standing by the bar, looking completely out of place as he sipped his coffee, his sharp eyes scanning the crowd.
Elliot bit his lip, trying to shake the odd thought that had appeared in his mind—Sebastian Winters, the man who didn’t believe in love, looked... almost lonely.
But Elliot pushed that thought aside. He had a wedding to run. He wasn’t here to save anyone. Not even Sebastian Winters.

But deep down, Elliot couldn’t shake the feeling that somehow, Sebastian was already part of his story.
And as for Sebastian, well… the more he watched Elliot Bloom, the more he realized something: magic was a lot more dangerous than he’d ever thought.
