The Spring Of Immortality
It was a early morning, the birds are singing in harmony, without a care in the world, all while a dying old man walked across, one of his arms chopped off and bleeding, the green grass turning purple with his blood. He kept walking and walking, to the “forbidden forest”, which no one had went in and came out alive. “ Well, at least they won’t follow me in here” thought the old man. Sighing and cursing his fate, he walked into the woods. A few days later, the old man was still walking, he had already been attacked by several beasts, and he simply killed and eaten them all. But there was a cost. One broke his ribs, the others simply decorated him with cuts and scars. Perhaps then the heavens had taken pity in him, maybe he was in the right place at the right time, who knows, because then, he saw a tornado. The old man gave up, there was no way to out run this thing. He sat down, gave a prayer to the gods, and accept his fate. However, instead of killing the old man like it should’ve, it brought him to paradise. A spring! Prettier than anything he had ever seen. With a tear in his face, he thanked the gods and took a sip of the water, but unbeknownst of him, it was the Spring of Immortality, and today, he is known as the God, Ajax. He is a savage monster, to those who meet him in battle, he is the kindest ruler to have ever lived to his people, but no one ever saw his face. The people who saw him without permission all died a painful death, limbs slowly ripped apart, all while being asked questions that they had no idea about. And yet, one boy, born fifty years after the rise of Ajax the God, who’s age right now barely has more than two digits, is the man, no the boy, to bring him down. He might not be known now, but even a thousand years after his death, there will be no one who doesn’t. If you ever heard his name, you will never forget it, it is the very name all the monsters in the world howl at night, it was the name that brought destruction to the mighty Empire. It was even the same name as the person who saved all animal kind, a few thousand years ago. Once you hear it, you better not forget it. Noah.
