That day started so differently that I was still trying to understand all the twists.

Draven, the relentless and dangerous Alpha, was now my mate. My mate. The word sounded strange in my mind, but the connection I felt with him was undeniable. It was as if my heart and my wolf were finally in tune with something beyond ourselves. Still, doubt lingered. Was it real? Could it work?

To be honest, I was afraid of falling flat on my face again. Trusting someone was like opening a wound that never fully healed, but with Draven... It was different. I just didn't know yet if it was a blessing or a trap of fate.

Later, as I walked through the pack alongside Lyss, memories of the previous night still haunted me, but another concern was forming. Many wolves were still injured after the attack. She had spent the night and the whole day taking care of them, but there were serious cases, and I knew my help would be needed.

We stopped in front of a group of wounded warriors, their expressions filled with pain. I couldn't ignore that. I couldn't just stand still.

"I need to do something for them," I murmured.

What kind of Luna would I be if I didn't even help my pack?

"Do you really want to do this?" Akira whispered, her voice filled with concern.

"I need to," I replied, determined.

"Lyss, I need a dagger," I asked, looking at her firmly.

She raised her eyebrow, confused.

"What for?" she asked, reluctantly, but obeyed, handing me the sharp blade.

I knelt beside one of the warriors, a young wolf who was moaning in pain. I cut the palm of my hand, letting the blood flow. Lyss watched, incredulous.

"Calyssa, what are you doing?" she whispered, alarmed.

Without answering, I pressed my bloody hand against the wolf's wounds. The transformation was immediate. The torn flesh began to regenerate before our eyes, the wounds closing as if they had never existed.

"This... This is incredible!" Lyss exclaimed, but there was a hint of fear in her voice.

I continued, moving from wolf to wolf, cutt…
