Layla vividly remembers the day her father promised that she felt vain to shake off her tiny shoulders.
Layla Lewelline (11 to 12 yrs old)
(Her face was withered with a dull smile when she made that promise.)
Layla Lewelline (11 to 12 yrs old)
(Those were my father's last words.)
Or her mother's for not living up to her promise?
Layla Lewelline (11 to 12 yrs old)
*Sad*
And spring never came again.
Layla was reminiscing the memory of her father's who once promised her and failed to keep up, while traveling in a train.
It wasn't the sweetest nor the bitter one, yet something she couldn't forget but relish.
And hence, after her only parent's death she took on a journey, crouched in the corner of a train, as if she was desperately hiding herself.
The life of a child left alone in the world, forced to move from one relative's house to another.
