The next couple of weeks were chaotic. The press got wind of Taehyung and Jungkook's engagement and turned it into a media frenzy. Jungkook and Taehyung were splashed across every newsstand in the city. Taehyung didn’t know how to handle the attention—it was overwhelming, and all he wanted was to escape from it.
Taehyung had to explain everything to Nora, and it was far from easy. With his father still in the hospital undergoing treatment, it was easier to keep him in the dark. Taehyung hadn’t spoken to his father since he left, but Nora mentioned he will be calling today. She assured Taehyung Mr Kim us doing better, but something in her voice told Taehyung she wasn’t sharing the whole truth.
Sohee later confirmed Taehyung's fears: the treatment had only a 20% chance of success and could potentially weaken his father further. All they could do was hold onto their faith and hope for the best.
