The silence was broken by the rustling of bushes nearby....

He breathed a sigh of relief, thinking one of his friends had finally found him, as the second passed, but his relief gave way to a sense of unease: what if it wasn't his friends at all? or what if it's something else?

He whispered, his heart pounding in his chest as he waited for an answer....

The bushes rustled faster, the sound of snapping twigs and crunching leaves filled the air as something -or someone -came bounding through the underbrush towards him

Fear took hold, his heart racing and his body began to trembling uncontrollably

He squeezed his eyes shut, paralyzed with fear, by as the moments tickled by, the rustling sound slowed then stopped, he opened his eyes to find someone standing in front of him

Before him stood an omega, he walked closer to him(joshua)

He was cut off mid-sentence as an alpha brust from the underbrush, sweeping the omega into his arms as he let out a joyful whoop, but as the alpha's eyes met his(joshua).He quickly set the omega back down.
