Hangover

Feeling something beside her, she opened her eyes to take a look but her headache was worst than before, she tried to focus on the figure,it was all blur. She only managed to figure out that it was a man when she felt bile rising in her throat, she tried to grab the bedside but failed miserably. She was about to fall when someone caught her and carried her into the bathroom. After puking three to four times she felt much better than before. When she was cleaning her mouth she remembered the figure who helped her earlier turning back she saw the face of the intruder. Wearing a black shirt rolled up exposing his bulging veins with a blue denim. Curled up messy blonde hair with hazel eyes.He is one of hottest guy she laid her eyes on but nothing compared to the one she last saw near the bus station with blue eyes.

She was drawn back to the time when she was interrupted by the man in front of her."Am I so hot that you cannot help but stare", regaining her composure she rolled her eyes pushed him back and went to rest on one of her couch in the living room. He followed her behind a smile plastered on his face, seeing that he was teasing her she tried to kick him but failed, she was weak after puking and have not eaten since yesterday. Once again resting on the couch and making herself comfortable she took a glass of water. "Chris, what are you doing here"? He smiled and took a seat near her trying his best not to stare at her messy look which was making him uneasy. " I picked you up from the roadside and carried you here all the way, instead of being grateful to me you are being rude to me that broke my little heart". She punched her but with her current strength it didn't bother him a bit. She smiled seeing his eyes glistening with joy, he was after all his first friend she made in New Orleans. He was opposite of her, he is the sunshine of the city everyone knows him here,he had something in him that made people easily attracted to him.

Seeing him sitting right beside her gave her a feeling which she has not felt in ages. After coming to New Orleans she never had a chance to hang out with any boy. Waking up with a hangover and a handsome man beside you always makes things difficult. And Kate was nothing different, she could feel the heat rising up between them and the awkward silence made it worse.She wanted to say something to make the atmosphere better but her body was against her mind. Till the time she made her mind, he had already decided. Getting up from the couch he helped her up and seeing her not pulling back he carried her to her bedroom and laid her down and turned back ready to get out of here."Rest well and take the medicine it's on the table, I will be leaving ". With that he was out of the room in a speed of lightning.
