5 years....

A beautiful lady wearing an elegant grey suit was standing in front of the window of the 13th floor room. Her beautiful dark brown hair were let down on her timid shoulders enhancing her beauty.

She turned around on hearing g a knock on the door. Her shiny brown eyes were beaming.

After turning back she said " Come in"

A handsome, tall and well-built man in his early 30s entered the room.

He said, " Ma'am you need to meet the CEO of K group at 2pm today, he asked if you could have lunch together. How shall I respond to him?"

The woman smirked, saying, "Tell him I will have lunch with him."

The man nodded and left the room.

At 1:45pm

The same man entered again and said, "Ma'am we need to go now."

The woman smiled and said, " James, you are my close friend but you always just behave like I secretary ever since I hired you in this office, if I had knew it earlier that you would become such a stranger I wouldn't have made the mistake of hiring you."

James replied, " At work you are my boss, but after work you are one of my close friends, Alyne."

Alyne seemed dissatisfied with the answer but didn't say a word and left for the the lunch appointment.

At night

Alyne was standing all alone and viewing outside the same window. She seems lost.

James noticed she was in and came into the room.

He asked, "Hey! Its already been 5 years but you still do this, when are you gonna change your habits? dlDue to you I also can't leave office eleven when my work hours are finished."

Alyne smiled and replied, " What kind of a secretary has fixed work hours? You leave when your boss leaves."

After saying this she picked up her bag and went out of the room. She went to the parking took her car and left.

James also followed the suit and left as well.

At James home

Dark house with a sense of no human life it seemed like an uninhabited island. But when James entered in the last room a child was laying on the bed silently, and lot of pipes were going into and coming out of the child's body. James sat down next to the child and put his head on the child's head. He stroked his fingers through the child's hair and said, "I'm sorry, but there is nothing I can do for you."

The child didn't move an inch nor did he showed any signs of life. James kept on peeping the child for about 5 minutes and then got up and left the room. When he left the room his eyes were all teary and he sat down outside the door of the room and cried his his eyes out. James also seemed lifeless at this moment, he was as if his soul has left his body.
