Under a silver moon, their swords clashed—steel singing in the night. V advanced first, lunging with precision. Jungkook sidestepped and parried effortlessly, his movements like flowing silk. As he circled V, his eyes caught his—wide, deep, luminous. V blinked, distracted for a breath, and JK capitalized, slashing lightly across his shoulder. Pain flickered; so did confusion.
V pressed forward with a flurry of strikes, his blade faster, more desperate. JK met each one with grace, dancing back, never breaking eye contact. His stare wasn't just a challenge—it was a trap, soft and alluring, inviting V to look deeper. His footwork faltered; his guard loosened.
JK then spun under his arm, letting his blade graze to V's side—not enough to wound, just enough to tease. His breath brushed V's ear. And V's heart pounded, more from JK's closeness than the fight. His eyes caught V's again—gentle, dangerous, disarming.
V struck wildly now, trying to regain control, but JK caught his wrist mid-swing, stepped in, and twisted. V's sword flew from his hand. JK's rested lightly against his chest. He froze, panting, stunned. All the people in that open room were too shocked to utter another word, they knew JK isn't just a normal guy, he defeated V, and as for the expression of Yoongi, Hoseok, Lisa who are with their mask on, were too stunned that this person just defeated his highness, soon to be his majesty, after all the royal lessons he took, Kim's are not only number 1 in ruling, also for their unique fight moves
A breeze stirred as there was a thunderstorm, and Jk's mask—dislodged by motion—slipped from his face, landing softly on the ground. He turned slightly, only enough for V to see the side of his face: the curve of his cheek, the hint of his cherry lips, the silhouette of mystery.
He stayed kneeling, mesmerized. The duel was over. He hadn’t been defeated by skill alone—but by something far more dangerous: Jk's eyes.
And JK took his Masquerade immediately in a swift move before V could see his whole face, and put it on back, tieing it up more tightly, backing off, placing his sword on the ground with a clung sound, making everyone to come out from their shocked world
