Obsession (Chapter 10)

After Tae Leaves…

Tae storms into his room, his anger taking over. He begins throwing things around in frustration until his eyes land on a photo of JK. For a moment, he stands still, overwhelmed by a mix of hurt and regret.

JK: "I wanted to discuss the project details."

Annie (cutting in angrily): "I’ll leave now, Boss." She storms out.

Annie sits at her desk, still shaken. Her eyes involuntarily wander to Tae, who’s sitting across the office. She feels a pang of longing and hurt, missing him deeply. Tae, sensing her gaze, turns around, locking eyes with her for a fleeting moment. without a word he looks away. leaving Annie more emotional than before..

JK: (angry) "Look, this is the office. I don’t want any drama here, or I’ll throw you out. It would be better if you just leave."

Tae: (looking into her eyes) "Do I really seem that bad to you, that you can’t even give me a chance?"

JK: (angrily) "Why are you acting like a psycho? Don’t you understand that I’m straight?"

Tae: "But in China, we spent time together..."
