We met each other when I was 7 and she was 8 but both were in 2nd standard in school but in different sections

We had a common friend. Each thought that we were her best friend

One day at break time me and Adu met each other through that friend

Both were so jealous of each other, thinking that how the other one is such a close friend to that girl

Next scholastic year Adu was transferred our section and gradually we grew close

Adeline always used to ask me for pen and pencil although she had it and it was just because she was too lazy to take her ones out

I used to get so irritated but gradually that irritation went away

We were good friends very healthy ones infact

But the problem was that we met just in school and there was another girl with whom I used to go for tuitions and dance classes and she was also in the same section with us

So very obviously I spent most of time with that tution girl so I regarded her as my best friend

But you know a best friend is that person with whom you can share everything without having the fear of being judged

With Adeline I could share every f*cking sh*t that came to my mouth and mind which was not at all the case with that girl whom I regarded as my best friend

So Adu and I have a similarity of having a half Asian mom and that also a Brown one

So we always had some sort of issues back with them

Most of the time it was me

So after 4-5 years I broke that so-called close best friendship with that girl

And after a month me and Adeline became inseparable

And we declared each other

But this fate…

She shifted to another town and we went for a long distance

Two years later we cracked college entrance exams and we got chance in our dream colleges which was in the same city same town, Delhi

And then!!

We moved in together in an rental apartment and had our bedtime days together

Studying, crazing out, freaking out, chilling out, everything

I don’t know why but we had a concept in mind that India provides really good education

But trust me there is always so much of competition I swear you can’t keep everything stacked up for the day before exam there was huge pressure

But one thing we knew that if we are able to endure that pressure there will be no hard nut to crack outside India

So like that I completed my Engineering and because she had to complete her atleast one year of residency period there, we again had to resume our long distance and here we are that digital device our only mode to communicate with each other

And just ignore what I wrote about Adeline completing her midterm exams in Chapter 4. It was my fault because I had misconception about the duration of medical studies and her also I’m not sure about ateast one year of residency period… My apologies if I have written anything illogical about these durations 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️
