*Frustrated* Okay, WHY is this project about some guy named Captain Jeon so hard? I swear, I’ve been researching for hours nope it's been 3-4 days and it feels like I’m reading a 7th-grade history book— but with more betrayal and death."

Bro, you chose this project, remember? No one forced you to pick Captain Jeon.

I know, but I thought it’d be easier! His name is everywhere—people literally name their pets after him! Why can’t I find any info on him?!

Okay, let’s break it down. Captain Jeon... not to be confused with the jeon you eat for breakfast, right?

Ugh, please. That was terrible—and no, not that kind of jeon. Anyway, this guy is apparently some war hero... or at least, that's what the history books say before they all decide to screw him over.

Well, now it sounds like a soap opera. Maybe I should join you as a guest star

Hoseok! Focus. I have to submit the project tomorrow and I’m still clueless. I think the library might have more on him. Maybe there's a secret journal or something.

Good idea! Go do your Sherlock thing. I’ll be here waiting, just in case you need emotional support... or snacks. Preferably snacks.

Taehyung decides to head to the library after a frustrating few hours at home. It’s a quiet night, and the place is almost deserted, except for a few night owls studying in the corner.

Taehyung (present )

Okay, the library always makes me feel like I’m doing something productive, even when I’m totally lost. Time to find the secrets of Captain Jeon.

Anne (Librarian)

*smiles* Good evening, Taehyung. Looking for anything specific?

Taehyung (present )

Yeah, um... Captain Jeon? Something... historical? Anything related to his story.

Anne (Librarian)

Ah, the Captain Jeon project. It's one of those tales. The records are in the back, but I must warn you, some things about his story are... well, they are mysterious. People tend to avoid them. You may not want to delve too deep.

Taehyung (present )

Now you’ve got my attention.

Taehyung follows the librarian’s directions, heading to the back of the library where old history books sit in dusty rows. He pulls out a heavy, leather-bound book titled "The Legacy of Captain Jeon" and flips through the pages.

Okay, here we go... let’s find out why this Captain Jeon guy was the center of all that betrayal drama.

As he flips through the pages, one particular section catches his eye: a strange description of a pendant that Captain Jeon always wore—"A pendant that could change the course of history, hidden in plain sight."

Taehyung (present )

What the heck? This guy wore a pendant that was that important?!

Curious, he keeps reading until a small, folded envelope falls out of the book. Confused, he opens it. Inside is a pendant with two pictures—one of a young man in uniform, looking serious and proud. The other picture, though, is blurry—almost as if the photo was taken in a rush, but it has a strange familiarity to it.

Taehyung (present )

Wait... WHAT? Is this a joke? The guy on the pendant... looks like... me?

Taehyung stares at the blurry image, squinting at the features. He doesn’t recognize the face in the second photo, but the resemblance to himself is uncanny. His hand shakes a little as he holds the pendant up to the light.

Taehyung (present )

* tremble little* Okay .. this is getting creepy. How is this even possible? Am I... related to Captain Jeon? Or am I losing my mind?

Suddenly, Taehyung hears a soft voice behind him
