Jeon Jungkook
Jungkook received an anonymous tip about a warehouse where a major deal was set to go down. The source claimed it would tie THV directly to a network of illegal arms dealers. It was too good to ignore. Armed with his camera and recorder, he headed to the location late at night, unaware that he was walking straight into a trap.
The warehouse was dark and eerily quiet when she arrived. She slipped inside, her senses on high alert.
Jeon Jungkook
He pushed open the door, the metallic clang echoing in the cavernous space. The faint smell of oil and iron filled the air, and his heart thudded in his chest. This was it. The moment he’d been waiting for.
The interior of the warehouse was cold and silent, with shadows stretching across the floor from faint, flickering lights. Jungkook moved carefully, scanning the space for any signs of activity. His tip had been specific—there was supposed to be a shipment here that could connect THV to international arms smuggling. But something felt off. Too quiet. Too still.
Jeon Jungkook
He turned a corner, his footsteps light, and froze. Crates lined one wall, stacked high with no markings. His breath hitched. This had to be it. He pulled out his camera, snapping a few pictures as his fingers trembled. But just as he adjusted the lens, a low, menacing voice echoed from behind him.
Kim Taehyung
(calmly, almost mockingly)
"Looking for something, Jungkook?"
Jeon Jungkook
His blood turned to ice. he spun around to see Taehyung standing a few feet away, his hands in his pockets, his face calm but his eyes gleaming with danger. Behind him, his men emerged from the shadows—Lorenzo and Mara among them, their weapons drawn and pointed directly at him.
Jeon Jungkook
(defiantly, stepping back)
"So this is how you operate? Trap your enemies in the dark and hide behind your thugs?"
Kim Taehyung
(Smiling faintly)
"No need to hide when you’re in complete control. You’ve been poking around my world for far too long, Jungkook. Did you really think I wouldn’t notice?"
Jungkook’s eyes darted around, looking for an escape route. The warehouse was a labyrinth of stacked crates and machinery, but the exits were blocked by Taehyung’s men. he gripped her knife, hidden in his jacket pocket, and glared at him.
Jeon Jungkook
"If you’re going to kill me, just do it. Spare me the speech."
Kim Taehyung
Taehyung chuckled, the sound low and unsettling.
"Kill you? Not yet. You’re far too interesting to get rid of so quickly. But I can’t have you snooping where you don’t belong."
He nodded to Lorenzo, who stepped forward, aiming a gun at his head. Jungkook’s heart pounded, but he refused to show fear. Instead, he met Taehyung’s gaze head-on.
Jeon Jungkook
(coolly)
"You think killing me will stop the truth from coming out? You’re more arrogant than I thought."
Taehyung raised a hand to stop Lorenzo, his expression darkening as he studied him. Before he could respond, Jungkook made his move. he whipped the knife from his pocket and lunged, slashing at Lorenzo’s arm. He cried out, dropping the gun, and chaos erupted.
Jungkook darted between tHe crates as Taehyung’s men shouted, the sound of gunfire echoing through the warehouse. he knocked over a stack of barrels to block their path and sprinted toward the far side of the room. His lungs burned, his mind racing as he tried to think of a way out.
lorenzo
(yelling)
"She’s heading for the west side! Cut her off!"
Mara and two others broke off to flank him, their boots pounding against the concrete floor. Jungkook ducked behind a stack of crates. He knew he couldn’t fight them all, but he refused to give up.
Kim Taehyung
Amidst the chaos, Taehyung moved with eerie calm. He didn’t chase him. He didn’t need to. Instead, he picked up Lorenzo’s discarded gun and fired a single shot into the air. The sound silenced the room, and everyone froze.
Kim Taehyung
(his voice cold and commanding)
"Enough."
Jungkook crouched behind a crate, his breathing ragged as he gripped his knife. he could feel his presence drawing closer, his footsteps deliberate and unhurried. When he finally dared to peek around the corner, he was there, his gun trained on him.
Kim Taehyung
"Drop the knife, Jungkook. You’ve made your point."
For a moment, their eyes locked, the tension between them crackling like a live wire. But Jungkook didn’t drop the knife. Instead, he stood, defiance blazing in his eyes.
Jeon Jungkook
(steadily)
"You’ll have to shoot me."
Kim Taehyung
(quietly, dangerously)
"Don’t tempt me."
Before Taehyung could make his move, a sudden explosion rocked the warehouse. One of the crates Jungkook had knocked over had ignited a gas line, sending flames roaring through the space. The distraction was all he needed.
Jungkook threw the knife, forcing Taehyung to duck, and sprinted toward the nearest exit. he didn’t look back as the heat from the fire licked at his heels. Behind him, Taehyung barked orders to his men, his voice sharp and unrelenting.
Kim Taehyung
"Get him out of here alive! Now!"
But it was too late. Jungkook was gone, disappearing into the night like a shadow.
