Ep 13 : Sorted into your houses
As we stepped into the great hall I was amazed by not only how huge it was but also by the exquisite interior.
Though I'd not seen the entirety of the school yet, the part I had seen had explicit carvings and exquisite decor all around.
Quite the spectacle, but what else would you expect if it's not for magic.
As we reached the stage area which was in front of the teacher's tables, an old man with a long white beard came down and greeted us

Good evening everyone.

I'm the Principal and Ms. Mcgonicall here is your Vice Principal.
Albus
Today marks the start of another journey in the years of Hogwarts as we welcome new witches and wizards.
Mcgonicall
Now, we'll start with the sorting ceremony. Please come up to the stage as your name is called.
As soon as his name was called he quickly walked up to the stage and sat on the chair as Ms. Mcgonicall put the sorting hat on him.

Let's see, ah hah a redhead.

Hm, might not it be another Weasley.
Sorting Hat
This one is quite different, timid and shy and scaredy-cat .
You could hear people laughing across the room as Ron's face became a pretty shade of cherry tomato red.

Considering every aspect of your inner and outer self your house shall be ..

Gryffindor !!!
Everyone sitting at the Gryffindor house's table cheered as Ron took off his hat and scurried towards them.
Mcgonicall
Next, please come up Draco Malfoy.
As the person came up I realized he was the same sweet boy I was looking at before. I didn't know why my heart fluttered at that moment or why it's racing now, but I guess it's something.
And now I know his name. Draco. Quite nice.

Hm, what do I find another Malfoy but right now I feel this one's different.

Let's see, His house shall be
I could hear people whispering, and even the teachers looked quite taken back as he walked towards the Ravenclaw table but the people that were at the table seemed to welcome him more (how to put it) excitedly.
Mcgonicall
Now, Harry Potter.
As I walked up and out of the crowd, I could hear a few whispers.

The hat fell into silence and the people seemed a bit more scared than I say amused. After a long minute the Hat said
I took off the hat and walked towards the Gryffindor table and got my badge, stole and tie as Ron said

We're in the same house that's great.
Harry Potter
Nice to meet all of you as well.
I expressed it to other people at the table. Everyone smiled and seemed happy and a few greeted me back.
And then I heard the sorting hat's voice.

Another boy scurried over and sat in front of me and introduced himself .

Hi, I'm Neville Longbottom.

It's nice to meet you all.

You're Harry..... Potter, Right??

Yeah.*smiles*

Nice to meet you *raises hand*
Before he could complete his sentence, we heard the hat shout again.
Ron Weasley
Are we having a Gryffindor streak ??
Neville Longbottom
*chuckles*
As I lifted my head, I realized it was the girl from the train. She came and sat next to me.
Hermione Granger
Nice to see you again.
Ron Weasley

Harry Potter
She's the one that bumped into you on the train .

I'm Hermione Granger, and you're Ron Weasley, right?

And with that we chatted with each other till the end of the sorting ceremony and became good friends.
Once the ceremony ended, the Principal got up and clinked his glass with his spoon.

As each one of you have now been sorted into your houses, will embark on a new journey.
Albus
So let us start with the feast in celebration of your new journey in life for all.
As he sat back down, people cheered and clapped before they started eating and to say the least the spread on all the tables were the same but the no. and type of dishes amazed me as well.
