About a hundred years ago, a rift suddenly appeared in the sky -- a dimensional portal leading to the demon world.

Thousands of demons descended on the human world, slaughtering everything they found.

Countries around the world -- until then engaged in a fierce war -- proclaimed a truce and united to fight the demons.

For the first time in history, humanity was united under the banner of "The Alliance"

Decades have passed since then, but the war between humans and demons continues to rage.

Although the dimensional portal was gone, the demons seemed like they could never be exterminated due to their rapid reproduction.

Over time, hybridization between humans and demons became inevitable.

Half-bloods had the appearance of normal human beings, but their demonic blood gave them supernatural powers.
