I just thought from perspective of real Isabella she was forced to marry a person whom she didn't wanted to marry. and above that he was in Mafia (apart from it being hyped in fictional world, it's so terrifying in real world ) I mean just think you are forced to marry a person who goes around killing people (for whatever reason no one has right to kill anyone) and WHY? just because he is rich?
