My name is Mia Jones, I am currently 18 years old, my parents passed away in a car accident on my birthday when I was born, I lived with my Aunt Linda and her husband Jordan when I was 17 that's when I had finally realized that my aunt and her husband were not my real parents, and they actually didn't like me, that day I had just come back from school, and it was my birthday I wanted to surprise them with a cake I bought with my own money because we usually never have cake on my birthday I thought it was because they couldn't afford it but now when I think about it the only time they complain about money is when my birthday was close and soon as my birthday was over the struggle stopped but I never thought about it to much but as I was saying I used the backdoor to enter, so they couldn't hear me and I walked in I heard whispers from the kitchen I leaned in to hear what they were saying cause I thought they were planning a surprise for me, but they what they said absolutely destroyed me they were talking about how much I was a burden to them and how much they couldn't wait for me to turn 18 so they can get a share of the money my parents left me and how they would kick me out afterwards when I heard it I was crushed I just froze as a tears rolled down my eyes

After that I realized how mistreated I was for example if I don't finish my dinner I wouldn't eat for the next 2 days or if I accidentally spit water on the floor I would have to clean the whole house with my toothbrush and wouldn't get a new one I was never aloud to have any friends I could only focus on my studies and if I got anything under 90% they would beat me with a wire and claimed they were raising me to be strong. I always got jealous when the another children talked about things like going out with their parents or had family game night.Once in middle school a boy in my class Max who I have never talked to came to ask about the work he missed the day before when my aunt found out she made me cut the grass on schools soccer field. Now I had finally that had realized that I have had enough, so I took the cake I bought and some clothes and at night when they were sleeping I took the car and started driving at time I had my learners cause my got tiered of driving,, and I drove I as far as possible and before I knew it I was in New York

But there was a problem I had nowhere to go so I slept In the car and I had a bit of money from my savings so I was able to buy food.When I woke up it was a pretty cloudy and when I stepped out of the car a little boy bummed into me but instead of apologizing he said that I stink but I don't blame him the last time I took a bath was two weeks ago and all of a sudden a boy who looked my age rushed over and started shouting at him and he looked very familiar that's when it hit me it was a boy from my high school Max.He left the school a long time ago but I could still recognize him and it looks like he had a Glow up a serious one and all of a sudden a voice called me from behind and when I turned around it was another Max lookalike just... UGLIER he said hi it's me Max Williams from high school and that's when I realized the ugly one was max and the another one was his hot brother Oliver who is already engaged but I think his married now.Hii( I said with a disgusted face)
