CHAPTER 8 (Use me Elion)

The air hung heavy with unspoken desires, the scent of jasmine and the soft hum of the night insects adding to the tension. Elion, his heart a frantic drum against his ribs, pushed back against Roderick's gentle touch. "Roderick," he stammered, his voice barely a whisper, "We can't do this. I'm married."

Roderick's hand, warm and strong, lingered on Elion's arm. He tilted Elion's chin up, his eyes filled with a tenderness that both captivated and terrified Elion. "Oh, Elion," he murmured, his voice a low, soothing melody, "My sweet Elion, do you really think I would care about that? Your husband... he cheated on you, didn't he? So why are you pushing me away?"

Elion's breath hitched. Roderick was right, his husband's betrayal had been a festering wound, a constant reminder of his own worthlessness. He wanted to deny it, to push Roderick away again, but the truth was, he was drawn to Roderick's warmth, his understanding.

"Use me, Elion," Roderick whispered, his lips brushing against Elion's ear. "I'll let you use me, baby." The words were a seductive whisper, a promise of release, of oblivion. Elion's heart pounded in his chest, a captive bird struggling to escape its cage.

"What do you mean by 'using you'?" Elion finally managed to ask, his voice trembling.

Roderick's smile was soft, almost apologetic. "I mean, let me take care of you, Elion. Let me be your comfort, your escape. You don't have to worry about hurting me, about hurting yourself. I'm here for you, whatever you need."

Elion's eyes widened. He had never encountered such selfless love, such complete acceptance. He had always been the one to give, to care, to protect. Roderick's offer was a foreign concept, a terrifyingly beautiful proposition.

"But... but I'm married," Elion whispered, his voice barely audible.

Roderick's hand gently cupped Elion's cheek, his thumb tracing the line of Elion's jaw. "I know, my love," he said, his voice a soothing balm. "But that doesn't change anything. You are hurting, and I want to help. Let me be your safe haven, your secret garden, a place where you can be free."

Elion's heart ached with a longing he had never known before. He wanted to push Roderick away, to cling to the remnants of his shattered marriage, but the pull of Roderick's love was too strong. He closed his eyes, the scent of jasmine filling his senses, the warmth of Roderick's hand a comforting weight against his cheek.

"I... I don't know what to do," Elion whispered, his voice choked with emotion.

Roderick leaned closer, his lips brushing against Elion's ear. "Just let yourself feel, Elion. Let me be your solace, your escape from the pain."

Elion's eyes fluttered open, meeting Roderick's gaze. He saw a love in those eyes, a depth of understanding that he had never encountered before. He saw a haven, a sanctuary from the storm raging within him.

He took a deep breath, the scent of jasmine filling his senses, and whispered, "I... I need you, Roderick."

Roderick's smile was the sun breaking through the clouds, a promise of warmth and light. "I know, my love," he whispered, his voice a caress against Elion's skin. "I'm here for you."

And in that moment, under the soft glow of the moon, Elion allowed himself to be swept away by the tide of Roderick's love, a love that promised solace, acceptance, and a freedom he had never dared to dream of. The world faded away, leaving only the warmth of Roderick's touch, the gentle rhythm of his heartbeat, and the sweet promise of a love that transcended all boundaries.
