The air is thick with tension as Alaric and his mafia crew arrive for a meeting that’s about to go south. The targets are waiting inside, unsuspecting of the storm that’s about to hit them.
Alaric, dressed in a sleek, dark suit, steps out of his black car, his sharp gaze cutting through the gloom. His cold, calculated demeanor is a stark contrast to the deadly mission ahead.
Several of his men stand in the background, guns ready, awaiting orders. Before him kneels a group of men who dared to cross him, fear evident in their eyes.
David (Right-Hand Man)
Boss, they’re all inside. Do we make a move now?
Alaric Romanio (ML)
Wait. Let them think everything’s still on their terms. They’ll soon learn the cost of crossing me.
Inside the warehouse, a group of men sits around a table, nervously awaiting Alaric’s arrival. They have made the fatal mistake of meddling in his business, siphoning funds and interfering with his operations.
They think they can negotiate.
But Alaric Romanio doesn’t negotiate. Not with traitors.

*step inside* These men chose their fate the moment they thought they could play games with me. I’ll teach them what happens when you steal from the devil himself.
He signals to his men to follow. With swift, quiet motions, they enter the warehouse. The group of traitors stands to greet him, nervous but trying to mask it with confidence. They don’t know they’re already dead.

*calmly, almost bored* So, this is what it’s come to? You really thought you could steal from me… and get away with it?
Man 1
*one of the captives; pleading* Please… we didn’t mean to. We were just following orders. It wasn’t personal.

Alaric steps forward, the echo of his shoes on the concrete floor amplifying the silence.

Man 2
*desperately* We didn’t know it was your shipment! We—
Alaric Romanio (ML)
*cutting him off, his voice like ice* You didn’t know? Or you didn’t care? Either way, you knew the risks, and now, you face the consequences.

*glances at one of his men, giving a small nod*
One of Alaric’s men steps forward, placing a gun to the back of the head of Man 2. The man trembles, his breath quickening.
Man 2
*begging* Please… no… we can make it up to you! We’ll pay double, triple! Just let us go!
Alaric Romanio (ML)
*laughing quietly, almost amused* Let you go? Do I look like the type of man who takes bribes?
Alaric crouches down to look the man in the eyes, his expression dead calm.
Alaric Romanio (ML)
Money won’t save you. Respect does. Fear does. And right now, neither of you have either.
Alaric stands up straight again, giving a signal with his hand.
The gunshot echoes through the warehouse as Alaric’s man pulls the trigger. The other captives flinch, horrified.
Man 1
*terrified* We swear, we’ll never cross you again! Just give us a chance—
Alaric Romanio (ML)
*interrupting, coldly* There are no second chances in my world.
Alaric paces slowly around them, his voice steady and unrelenting.
Alaric Romanio (ML)
If I let you live, what does that tell the rest of the world? That it’s okay to disrespect me? That you can meddle in my business and walk away?
Man 3
*another captive; voice shaking* We didn’t mean to disrespect you—
Alaric Romanio (ML)
*suddenly sharp* But you did.
Alaric Romanio (ML)
*voice lowers, dangerously calm* And I have a reputation to maintain. I didn’t get to where I am by being merciful to those who cross me.
He stops in front of the third man, his expression emotionless. He pulls out his own gun, the metal gleaming under the dim warehouse lights. The man stares at the gun in horror.
Alaric Romanio (ML)
I warned you… all of you. But you didn’t listen. And that… is why you’re here *raises the gun, pointing it directly at the man’s forehead*
Man 3
*sobbing* Please… please, I have a family—
Alaric Romanio (ML)
*his face unmoved* So do I. And that’s why I can’t afford to let anyone think they can touch what’s mine.
Without another word, Alaric pulls the trigger. The man crumples to the ground. The remaining captives are trembling, unable to speak. Alaric’s cold gaze sweeps over them.
Alaric Romanio (ML)
*quietly, almost to himself* Mercy is a weakness I can’t afford.
Alaric Romanio (ML)
*turns to his men, his voice commanding once more* Clean this up. I don’t want any loose ends.
His men move swiftly to follow his orders, dragging the bodies away. Alaric watches them for a moment before turning to leave, his expression as unreadable as ever. But as he reaches the door, one of his men speaks up.
David (Right-Hand Man)
*hesitant* Boss… what about the last one? *gestures to the final captive, who’s barely holding himself together*
Alaric Romanio (ML)
*pausing, considering* “The last one?” *looks back at the man, who is shaking violently, his eyes filled with terror*
Man 1
*barely able to speak* I—I swear I’ll disappear. You’ll never see me again. Please…
Alaric stares at the man, his face unreadable for a long moment. Then, with a cold smirk, he holsters his gun.
Alaric Romanio (ML)
You’re lucky. I’ll let you live.
Alaric takes a step closer, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper.
Alaric Romanio (ML)
But if I ever hear your name again, if I ever even sense your shadow near my business… you’ll wish you were dead long before I get my hands on you. Understand?
Man 1
*nodding frantically* Y-yes. I swear.
Alaric Romanio (ML)
*smirking* Good

*straightens up, turning to his men* Let him go. And make sure he remembers who spared him.
The men nod and release the trembling man, who scrambles to his feet and runs out of the warehouse as fast as he can. Alaric watches him go, his eyes narrowing slightly.
David (Right-Hand Man)
*curious* Why let him go, boss?

*shrugging slightly, his voice cold and detached*
