In the classroom, Mr. Liam Storm is delivering a lecture on photosynthesis. The students appear to be paying attention—except for Rimi and Mimi, who are at the back gossiping.
Rimi
(whispering to Mimi):
“Heh, and I said, I hate dates! Ha ha.”
Mr. Liam suddenly looks up, noticing the pair distracted.
Mr. Liam Storm
(seriously):
“So, who can tell me what I just taught?”
Mimi and Rimi exchange a panicked glance. Neither has a clue.
Rimi
(whispering to Mimi):
“Just raise your hand. He’ll think we know.”
Mimi
(whispering back confidently):
“Got it.”
Both girls raise their hands high, trying to look as confident as possible.
Mr. Liam’s eyes narrow as he focuses on them, particularly on Mimi.
Rimi
(calling):
“Rimi, you answer.”
Rimi freezes. Her hand slowly lowers as she realizes she’s been called out.
Rimi
(nervously):
“Uh, me? Oh right, I’m Rimi, um... how are you, Mr. Liam?”
Mr. Liam Storm
(sternly):
“I asked you to explain photosynthesis, not ask how I am.”
