Life with VICTOR was a warm summer evening while, Life without him was nothing but a freezing winter night. The one, most affected by his absence was Vincent but nobody cared.

While, Vincent was crying over his unlucky day, he heard happy giggles in the air surrounding him.

*Ahhh!! The happy rabbit, he noticed, tripped and fell. " It hurts."

*He could hear his heart drumming faster as he approached this stranger. His nostrils picked up the faint sweet fragrance in the air which thickened as he approached her more. "Thses pheromones! "

* His eyes widened in shock, as he knew whom he was approaching.

[ It's ok Vincent, you have to face your mate someday.] *sighed and continued to shorten the distance between them.

*He knelt in front of her and held her injured ankle, still not looking at her face which was facing down, with her hair masking most of her face

With his touch, the other person flinched in surprise, releasing their pheromones, and welcoming her mate. "MATE" The omega growled in happiness, with her eyes glowing the beautiful shade of blue, the Alpha had ever seen.

*He paused for a moment, doubting whatever happening right in front of his eyes which glistened golden, recognizing their bond.

"MATE" *He heard his wolf growling in happiness as soon as his Omega recognized him

With their wolf's approval, their eyes met.

Time passed by, with the two newly found mates, talking happily and enjoying their present, not knowing what the future holds for them.

*Within seconds, she kissed him back, accepting him.

*She understood that there was some kind of sadness dwelling behind those silly laughs, but she didn't want to probe longer.

'After all they have a lifetime to spend. He will open up when he is comfortable', that's what Valencia felt.

After composing himself, Vincent once again started his silly jokes, treasuring their time together, and brightening the mood, after crying.

With the tiny bit of courage left in her, Valencia kissed him, untying his robe.

The night was unusually warm, for the lovers who were busy with becoming one.

*opening her eyes slowly "Good morning" *She said in a sleepy tone.

"You baddie!" ( Shit! Brother will search for me. I have to go home before he finds out.)

*gets up from the bed immediately

And Vincent started his journey with the soldiers.
