Lost in thought she didn't notice the truck barreling down the street.

Time slowed

Maria's eyes widened as the truck's headlights illuminated her. She tried to move, but her legs felt heavy rooted to the spot.

The impact was sudden violent Maria's world went dark.

Her mind flashed with her whole life till now.

she was in terrible pain and all the memories of what had happened to her till now were coming to her mind one by one.
