The first light of dawn crept through the curtains, casting soft, golden rays across the room, the sound of bird chirping and the comforting aroma of the coffee wafted through the air, mingling with the smell of the pancakes. A cat lazily stretched in a patch of sunlight, its eyes half-closed, soaking in the warmth. And someone was sleeping like a dead mouse, blissfully unaware of the chaos around her, until a tight slap on her butt sent her leaping from the bed like a startled jackrabbit, eyes wide and hair a complete disaster.
Mrs. Chen: “wake up, you rotten egg!” **
she shouted, hands on her hips. “don’t you know what time it is? “Her voice cut through the sleepy haze, mixing urgency with a dash of expiration as she stood beside the bed, waiting for a respond**
“Ahh, my butt!”
came a muffled complaint from the bed, the sleepy voice barely breaking through the layers of the blankets.
“Momm!, five more minutes, please! “The plea was laced with the kind of desperation only a cozy bed could inspire, as turns away, trying to reclaim her precious dreams
Mrs. Chen: “Hey Yuri! Wake up! You are going to be late for your flight! “Mom said, snatching the blanket away “what the hell? You smell like a rotten egg! “Mom exclaimed, scrunching her face in disgust.
She waved her hand in front of her nose as if trying to ward off the odor
“Momm!!! “She shouted, her voice a mix of
frustration and disbelief. She flung her arms over her head in a dramatic plea, her sleepless battling with the urgency of the morning as she buried her face** in the pillow\, Wishing for a few more minutes of peace. She sat up\, groaning\, “can’t**** anybody let me sleep? “Annoyance tinged her voice as she shuffled****
towards the bathroom, determined to wash away the remnants of sleep and face the day.
wait! wait! You must be confused right now , but let me explain. The mother is waking up her 19-year-old daughter, Yuri Chen, who is a unique individual, possessing both strengths and weaknesses. Yuri is a multifaceted person, prone to clumsiness, ambivert, and possesses a desire to face challenges head-on. She has a strong will to be independent and has secured a scholarship to her studies in the United States to continue her studies, and without further delay, let's dive back into the story...
After her morning routine, she descended the stairs, fully dressed for her journey, and turned to her mom and asked her “Mom, am I going to the airport with the driver, or will you and Dad be taking me?" she asked, her excitement bubbling over.
Mrs. Chen smiled warmly and said, "Oh Dear, you’re going with us! Your dad will drive you to the airport."
With a warm smile, Mr. Chen walked toward them, coffee in hand, and gently asked, "Have you packed up your things, my little princess?"
"Yuri said with a wide smile,
'I’m all set and ready to go!”
Mrs. Chen said, "Yuri, take care, dear. Don’t get sick! Try to eat your lunch on time and focus on your work—don’t get distracted by unnecessary things."
As she offered her advice, she caught a glimpse of her husband sneaking sugar into his coffee.
With a playful smirk, she exclaimed in a stern and commanding tone, Mrs. Chen firmly addressed her husband “hey Mr.., if you continue to disregard your health in this manner, leading to an early onset of heart stroke, you! diabetes patient ! mark my words, I will remarry with haste and twerk on your grave without compunction!
Yuri Chen’s lips curled into an amused smile upon witnessing her parents engaged in their familiar banter. The spectacle of their harmless bickering served as a source of light-heartedness and comfort, a routine that brought a sense of normalcy to their daily lives
As Mr. and Mrs. Chen continue their good-natured squabble, their argument was abruptly interrupted by their daughter’s smoothing voice, gently imploring,
“That’s enough, you two. “With a mixture of resignation and affection, they smiled sheepishly and ceased their banter, turning their attention towards their daughter
*****Time skip*****
During the journey to the airport, Yuri’s mind was consumed by a maelstrom of thought, her anxieties and fear about the unknown future begging to take hold. The prospect of her impending departure sent her emotion into a tailspin, her anxieties mounting as she gripped with the uncertainly that loomed ahead. Despite her anxieties, Yuri made a concerted effort to stay positive. She refused to let her fears overcome, determined to stay hopeful about the adventures that lay ahead"
"Yuri's thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the sound of her father's voice calling out to her. She snapped out of her reverie and realized that they had indeed arrived at the airport. Her parents were now standing before her, their faces a mixture of sadness and pride as they prepared to bid her farewell. The moment had finally come for her to embark on her journey, and she knew that she was about to step into a new chapter of her life."
"The family had finally arrived at the airport, and the reality of the impending separation began to sink in. They were now standing in front of the airport terminal, surrounded by other families preparing to send off their loved ones. The sound of rolling luggage and quiet conversations filled the air, adding to the sense of anticipation and melancholy. The journey was coming to an end, and a moment of transition was upon them."

"Yuri chuckled at her mother's teary-eyed reaction and gently teased her. 'Oh, mama, you're such a crybaby,' she said with a mixture of affection and humor. 'Please don't cry or I'll start crying too.' The lighthearted exchange served as a momentary distraction from the sadness of the farewell, and for a brief moment, the family shared a lighthearted moment amidst the emotional farewell."
"Mr. Chen, with a mixture of excitement and sadness, echoed his wife's sentiment. 'Alright, alright,' he said, his voice betraying a hint of emotion. 'Let's take a family photo before you go.' The family gathered together, their arms around each other, trying to capture one last memory before Yuri's departure."
"Mr. Chen, despite being the most emotional person in the family, tried to maintain his composure and offer comfort to his wife and daughter. He pulled his wife closer and gently patted her shoulder, offering silent reassurance. Then, he turned to Yuri and patted her head, his usually cheerful smile barely masking the sorrow in his eyes."
"Yuri watched as her family waved goodbye, their smiling faces a juxtaposition to the tightness in her chest. With a heavy heart, she turned and walked through the airport doors, leaving behind the familiar embrace of her family as she prepared to embark on her new journey."
"As Mr. Chen watched his daughter disappear into the airport, the thought of living without her suddenly hit him. Although Yuri had grown up into a young woman, he still saw the little girl who used to throw tantrums and cling to him for comfort. The realization that she would now be far away from him filled him with both pride and sorrow."
"Mr. Chen chuckled awkwardly, the tough exterior he had put up for Yuri's sake now cracking. With a hint of self-deprecation, he spoke, 'Well, you can't fault a father for trying to be strong, can you?" But as soon as Yuri walked through those airport doors, all that composure just flew out the window. The weight of his daughter's departure now fully sinking in, he confessed, "I guess I'm not as tough as I thought I was."
Mr. Chen, trying to lighten the mood, said, "Alright, alright, let's all stop this now and head home." He gave Mrs. Chen a reassuring pat on the back, signaling that it was time to leave. The weight of their daughter's departure was still hanging in the air, but the family knew they had to start their journey back to their own home.
