(Leslie Pov)

I wait in the hospital bed for Alec. He's probably telling Esma he doesn't want the child.

I told him that her plan was probably to seduce him and get a child to ruin our relationship and he fell for it easily.

I sigh in relief. My plan worked. I always knew they slept together. Although they tried there best to hide it. It was obvious. At first I was mad but I got furious when I realized Esma was pregnant. Esma was stupid enough to not notice. I thought running her over would be enough to make her lose that bastard. Unless she knew she was pregnant and had protection on her stomach. She is right though I am my Mother's daughter.

I knew he would leave me so I had to at least try. I told one of the maids what I was going to do and to wait 3 minutes. The cuts weren't deep so I'm fine.

Now nothing will take him away from me. Nothing. That's what Esma deserves for everything she did to me. My Mother died because of her. I was sent away because of her. I admit I had a comfy life but I wouldn't let her live her life in peace.

This is hilarious she's probably crying right now. Oh my baby, my baby. But soon he'll forget about his stupid child. I'll give him one. More than 5 if I have to. He will forget her and give me everything I deserve that she took from me.

It was hard to take him away. But I realized I just had to act like the younger version of Esma. He misses her dearly. Who would've thought? Haha.

Although I have to deal with his stupid family. I'll take my place easily. Now I can live in peace and luxury for the rest of my life. Were already engaged and my name will be Mrs. Leslie Hayes. Oh that sound better then Mrs. Esma Hayes.

I hear footsteps and the door open. Alec opens the door. I turn my expression into worried. I make my eyes droopy.

He walks in with bruises on his face. I forgot about the Channing brothers.

"Hey, Babe. Are you mad at me?" I say sniffing. I pretend to cry. He rushes towards me.

"Honey, of course not. I love you no matter what. That Women well never ruin what we have. I promise you she is no one to me. But you didn't have to do this." He says gesturing to wrists.

I nod. "I know it's just it hurt me so much and well I would have loved for you to be with your child but I knew that if I ever saw your child it would just remind me of how you betrayed me" I say sadly. I drop my gaze to my lap.

He puts a hand to my chin and lifts it. "Honey, I love you no matter what. But that child is not mine. We will have our own once were married and have a beautiful life. Okay, Honey?" He says reassuring me.

I give him a tender smile, "Okay. I love you." I tell him.

He leans forward and he gives me a passionate kiss.

Now this is the life that I deserve. Sorry, Esma. Now all you can do is suffer under my shadow.
