Now let the story...
Have a good time while reading 😗🤍
warren
She lived in the only run-down house in the neighborhood; a two story Victorian with a pepperbox turret and windows of leaded glass, a sagging roof with missing shingles and a number of blackened brick chimneys.
warren
What little paint remained was no longer white but crusty gray, its walls barely seen through the dense cedar trees that surrounded the property. Weeds sprouted from the unkempt, split rail fenced yard, and rather than a nice paved driveway like all the others in the community, she had only a short gravel apron for her car.
warren
The man of the house had died way before I was born, leaving her alone in the old place for all those years. At night, not a light ever shone in any of the windows, not even of the front gate.
And sometimes after dark, I'd hear her honey like smooth and feather like soft voice echoing out of that old house, raised in songs that seemed to me unearthly.
Ofcourse! She was a.....witch
Dumb authoress
boom! Revealed the secret 😏
warren
Her name was Jeanne weiler, and she was my music teacher when I was in elementary school back then.
warren
Looking back now, I'd have to say she was quite an attractive woman, though at the time, she presented such an imposing image that being in the same room with her intimated me to the edge of fright
warren
She stood almost six feet (which when I was just over four feet tall seemed so very high indeed), had long, wavy black hair that she often wore stacked atop her head, and possessed the most piercing green eyes I think I've ever seen even to this day.
warren
She virtually always wore a severe, tight-fitting black outfit that showed off a fine figure....unappreciated by my youthful eyes, but which spoke of no impropriety....only of dignity.
warren
And despite of my fear of Mrs.weiler, I loved her so.
warren
While I couldn't begin to have sexual thoughts about her in those days, I reacted physically to her presence by having chills and almost uncontrollable trembling.
warren
I recall many a time when, had she but asked it, I would have fallen to my knees and kissed her feet and been so excited by the prospect that I might have wet my ahem...drawers. *shy*
warren
All the more reason to be assured that she was a witch, for this was power--the purest power ever exerted upon me, miles and leagues beyond any held by my parents, or any other teachers, or the minister at chruch, or any of my fellow fourth graders.
warren
I was afraid of her because she could have made me do things. Anything.
warren
But she always spoke kindly to me, treated me with the same respect with which she treated all other kids. All the parents liked her.
warren
I know she was aware of the effect she had on me because often I would catch her glancing at me with appraisal in her cool, emerald green eyes, one hand curled beneath her chin as if she contemplated things held in store for me that I could not imagine.
warren
And oh, her voice! She would sing so many songs to us as she attempted to teach us music, and that sweet alto would weave its way through my mind down to my deepest core, tugging at my soul with sorrow or joy, whatever emotion to which the song was tuned.
warren
I remember she would sing "A Time for us,"...the theme to Romeo and Juliet, with such passion that the whole class would be in tears.
warren
No one else could have ever done that to me, or to any of my friends. She was a witch.
warren
Some of the songs we had to learn were stupid, and she took great pleasure in watching us humiliate ourselves by singing them....badly, at that and I loved her all the more for it.
warren
Things like "Morning comes Bringing" and "Dreidle" and "Cherry Ripe" made my teeth grind, but because she desired it, we'd sing our little hearts out, and she would smile with such joy...making me smile too. *smiled remembering the moments*
warren
She was our mistress and could not be refused. She would reward us sometimes with milk and cookies or even let us out five minutes before the bell rang in the afternoon, for hers was the last class of the day.
warren
For sure, it was love in the air for me. And yeah, it still is! *laughed*
That's all for today guys 😺
Dumb authoress
Hope you all enjoyed!
Dumb authoress
I tried my level best to write it like a high-class imagination but... I'm not that good with such words.
Dumb authoress
Oh yeah! about me disappearing for almost a month 😅.....my exams end and then I went to my hometown where I didn't got any free time to update.
Dumb authoress
So, thankyou so much for bearing with me of my absence *bowed 90°*
