Trickery At Its Finest

Originally, Hyung Aejun was only exiled for 3 years, but he ran away, but he had no real destination in mind. While walking for 8 hours, he encountered the border of Multtang, he almost died from starvation but random strangers helped him, all those kind men had long black hair and a sword on their waist. He was not permitted to leave the border, that was the King's order, so now that the soldiers felt pity for Hyung Aejun, they fed him and kept him for about 18 days when two middle aged men were coming to settle down in Multtang.

Both the men decided to take Hyung Aejun as a disciple, the men were dogani (Taoist in Korean) Songill Yeon So and dogani Park Kyung Hwangwoo, the two men were cultivators, they killed ghosts, purified evil spirits and sealed demons as a loving. The two taught Hyung Aejun all there was to learn, but unfortunately, while Hyung Aejun was away, the Voice of Misfortune struck his instructors. The truth is, the two dogani had defeated a very powerful devil, they were very happy...

Hyung Aejun returned to the hut they used to live in together, he was horrified at the sight of both the dogani standing like zombies, they were possessed by ghosts, so with tears in his eyes and his sword in his hands, he beheaded his own teachers. And since then, Hyung Aejun developed an undying hatred in his heart for whatever creature this, Voice of Misfortune, was. Despite Multtang being the origin, there were no scholars who knew about this, so Hyung Aejun settled on a conclusion, he will travel to Bunyeong and find out the truth.

As a child, Hyung Aejun was fiery and stubborn as a child, considering the fact he even ran away from his royal household, he certainly matured at this age. He calmly approached the King, his father and presented the fact that two strangers were better of a father than him, the least he could do now was to allow Hyung Aejun to leave Multtang for 4 years, "I can assure you that I will return with some, if not much, valuable information." Hyung Aejun suggested peacefully. The King was ashamed, how could he let his own son embarrass him and call him out so easily?

Hyung Aejun departed in the South, which meant he was heading to Chinseon, the King sent a letter to the King of Chinseon with a picture of Hyung Aejun, warning him about this particular "bandit" that was going to be spotted there soon, but still, Hyung Aejun wasn't dumb, he knew that his father would try to pull something like this so he changed plans. He shamelessly took a sharp turn to East, meaning that he was now going to Bunyeong, instead of Yeolban. Because he escaped from his father's view, he was feeling very proud and at ease, and again, the Voice of Misfortune strikes at such petty moments too.
