Professor smiled warmly at me. I smiled back. He too had golden eyes because we all were vegetarians. Well, we didn't hunt humans .He looked in his early thirties. But he was very old. His dark hair and broad shoulders just added to his good looks. He was like a second dad to me, the only person I could ever trust completely except Antonio . Of course I trusted others too but you know the difference.

"So, you done unpacking ?"

"Yeah."

"Come here, hon." I went to sit on the arm of his chair.

"Don't be upset . I'll be back within a few weeks."

He was going to Oxford for some research of his.

"I'll miss you." I said desparately. I didn't want him to go.

"I'll miss you too, and you can always call, you know."

Fletch peeked through the door, "Bella, would you like some muffins?"

"Sure, Fletch." He smiled and left.

"You should go get ready, tomorrow's your first day of new school." I groaned.

"Why does everyone keep reminding me that? It doesn't matter how much I get ready I am still gonna be a purple eyed freak!"

"No, love, you are not. You just need someone to make you realize that."

"What the hell does that mean?"I frowned.

"You will know at the right time."

"Whatever, take care." Then I teleported back to my room in Charlie's house. It wasn't much different from last time. He had added a desk and a second hand computer. A rocking chair from by baby days was still there. I smiled. It didn't care if he was poor or not . He was still my , sort of father. Besides the room had had a homey fell to it. Nothing too flashy .Then I heard his cruiser. I ran down stairs and opened the door.

"Hey Bella, you all set?" he asked.

"Yes, dad. Would you like some dinner?"

"Well, I could eat." I made dinner and we both ate in silence. It was comfortable like that. I knew that Charlie didn't like to talk much. After doing the dishes I went to sleep. I lay on the bed listening to the sound of the rain and went into a peaceful sleep.
