Chapter 2

My flight to Forks was of roughly 3 hours. I thought about my fucked up life. Okay , long story - short version , I wasn't Renee's and Charlie's daughter but they thought otherwise. My biological father was a vampire , a very powerful one I might add, and my mother was a demon. My mother died at my birth and my father was killed by some psychopaths who came to kill me. They thought I would be a soulless baby who would destroy the earth the second it came out of its mother's womb. But while they were busy dealing with my father my father's best friend Professor Matthews Clairmont , switched me in some other crib that was supposed to be Renee's child's. But it had already died due to miscarriage . The doctor hadn't told her since she was unconscious. My father's gift was that he could erase memories. He erased the doctor's memory and hence I ended up with Renée. But even after all these years I could not forgive myself that somehow I was responsible for my parent's death. I was a half vampire - half demon. So powerful , people feared me, well only the people who knew what I was. I had my father's eyes a vivid violet with golden flecks. Except that I got the flecks from my mother. I was not very tall , average height and curvy at the right places. I was pulled out from my train of thoughts when the flight attendant announced our landing.
