[stepping closer, protective] I don’t know, but he doesn’t look friendly.

Mysterious Man: [smirking] Just a friend of your parents. I have important matters to discuss with you, Evelina.

Evelina Valerius/ Orion (FL)

[confused] Important? About what?

Alaric Orion (FLs foster brother)

[interrupting] She’s not interested. You should leave.

Mysterious Man: [eyeing Alaric] Interesting choice of words. But Evelina, there are things you need to know about your family.

Evelina Valerius/ Orion (FL)

[heart racing] What do you mean?

Mysterious Man: [glancing at her] Your past has a way of catching up with you.

Alaric Orion (FLs foster brother)

[angry] Get out. We don’t want any trouble.

Mysterious Man: [smiling coldly] Just remember, Evelina, you can’t run from the truth forever.

Evelina Valerius/ Orion (FL)

[breathless as he leaves] What does he know?

Alaric Orion (FLs foster brother)

[calming her] It doesn’t matter. We’ll protect you.

--- Later that night, Evelina can’t sleep.

[whispers to herself] Why can’t I shake this feeling?

The next day, in the garden...

Alaric Orion (FLs foster brother)

[sitting beside her] Evelina, I need to tell you something. I care about you… more than just as a brother.

Evelina Valerius/ Orion (FL)

[heart racing] Alaric, I—

Suddenly, her phone buzzes. She checks it and gasps.

Evelina Valerius/ Orion (FL)

[reading the message] "I know who you are, Evelina. It’s time to embrace your true self."

Alaric Orion (FLs foster brother)

[concerned] What’s wrong?

Evelina Valerius/ Orion (FL)

[panicking] We need to go inside. Now.

They hurry back to the safety of their home, Evelina’s heart pounding. ---

Evelina Valerius/ Orion (FL)

[looking at Alaric] I feel like everything is closing in on me.

Alaric Orion (FLs foster brother)

[determined] We’ll figure it out together. You’re not alone in this.

Evelina Valerius/ Orion (FL)

[nodding] I just hope it’s enough...
