At a fancy restaurant where Aaron and Sophia are forced to meet.

Aaron is already seated at a table, looking at his watch impatiently. Sophia walks in, looking elegant yet fierce. They lock eyes.

Aaron Kingston (ML)

Coolly “You’re late.”

Sophia Wilson (FL)

Sits down confidently “And you’re rude.”

Aaron Kingston (ML)

Raises an eyebrow “So, you’re the woman my parents want me to marry.”

Sophia Wilson (FL)

Smirking “Apparently. And you’re the guy who doesn’t want to be here as much as I don’t.”

Aaron Kingston (ML)

Nods “Good. At least we’re on the same page. Let’s make this quick and tell them it’s not going to work.”

Sophia Wilson (FL)

Fine by me.

There’s a brief silence as they size each other up. Both can’t help but notice the other’s attractiveness, though they don’t say anything.
