There will be a royal ball held next week

*Finally, I was waiting for it*

The yearly royal ball held for welcoming new students is a famous event. Only the students and professors are invited to it, the whole academy is adorned with decorations, including a memorable feast.

But I'm not waiting for it to enjoy myself partying. I have a motive.

While everyone would be busy reveling with the others, I want to search for something I came here for.

He sits upright, his eyes drilling a hole in my face with his intense gaze. Suddenly his face contorted in disgust, and I heard someone's voice behind me.

Seeing me loll my tongue out made Trevor shake in anger visibly. I could see him ball his hand into a fist, trying not to punch me across my face.
