In the final minutes before the Cannon fired. All the men of the village has torn their way deep into the army of the barbarian which greatly surprised the barbarian general, but even with all this he still didn't make a move as he thought that the moment the weapon is fired and their barrier broken, so also the fighting spirit of the men would be broken.

Cui Shen noticed the weapon gathering vital qi and at that moment passed his battle Axe from his right hand to his left and began gathering his own viral qi, this Qi also shrouded his great battle Axe. At that moment the Cannon blasted forth the Qi it had accumulated and at that same moment with one uppercut strike with his great battle Axe Cui Shen was force the Cannon to face the Sky.

The blast was Earth shaking and ear deafening even up to thirty thousand miles away. you could see the white light going straight into the skies and up to the third heavens was pierced through.

For a while nobody could make any move. Even Cui Shen whose upper left half of his body was razed till his flesh withered, could only stand and face the skies. The barbarian general on the other hand has dropped to his knees while the Earth quaked and couldn't find the strength to get back up. He was beheaded from behind by someone from the Serpentine clan and the rest of the barbarian army acknowledging their defeat scampered in all directions. The battle was won finally and the people of the Serpentine clan could live for another day.

Years went by and the son of Cui Shen,named Yao progressed into the final stage of the Earth realm and went into seclusion therefore the Serpentine clan was said to have disappeared from history for a while. And during this time, the barbarians grew stronger and even took control of the wind kingdom. It is from this point our story begins, where a talented youngster comes forth from the Serpentine clan, along with a few comrades of his. And they stepped forward putting and end to the reign of the barbarians in the wind kingdom. This youngster, Cui Yao a Martial cultivator at the second level of the heaven realm of Qi cultivation, was appointed the king of the wind kingdom later on and from then on he continued to defend the kingdom from the barbarians and even conquered territory over from the barbarians. Whenever history is taught to the younger generation, the feats of This King was fondly remembered.

Hey guys,

I feel like adjusting the names of the clans... so the Serpent clan has become the Serpentine clan... not much difference tho but please bear with the change.

As for release speed, sorry I've not been frequent with release and that is as a result of my work interfering with my writing.

This is also my first work concerning Chinese martial arts so I know I'm not very good at it yet, and if you have any pointers then please let me know in the comment section below.
