Hearing Bai Yutang's words, everyone present started to worry.

Although Zhan Zhao was part of the S.C.I. team, he was technically not a field officer. In addition, the case this time was so problematic. Disgust filled their faces upon hearing Gongsun's words.

Zhan Zhao knitted his brows together and said, "You mean..."

"This guy is really crazy. Does he think of people as pigs?" Bai Yutang brooded.

"Leader?" Wang Chao suddenly exclaimed, "Could the killer be a butcher?"

Zhan Zhao shook his head, "That's highly unlikely! Judging from the killer's behaviour, he's someone with OCD. He's a strict perfectionist and clean freak."

Bai Yutang nodded and concurred, "That makes sense! However, this is also a possible lead. Zhang Long, go check where this type of stamp and inks are sold tomorrow. Wang Chao, you'll check to the pork factories and pig farms."

"...Ah??" Wang Chao looked really reluctant, "That's distasteful..."

Bai Yutang shot him a glare and added, "That's why I'm asking you to go! If you can prove he is butcher, I'll buy you a car!"

Zhan Zhao looked at Bai Yutang with a look of surprise, "White Mouse? Are you being serious?"

After the meeting had ended, people started leaving one after another. Zhan Zhao got up to leave as well. When Bai Yutang suddenly grabbed him, saying, "Let's go!"

"Where to?" Zhan Zhao inquired, puzzled.

"You'll know when we get there."

After the two of them entered the lift, Bai Yutang pressed for Basement 2.

"Why are we going to the shooting range?" Zhan Zhao frowned.

Bai Yutang didn't answer his question, but instead, asked, "Did you bring your gun?"

"...No..." Zhan Zhao answered, putting his hands into his pockets.

"What?" Bai Yutang glared at him, "The whole point of the station giving you a gun is so you can have it on your person!"

In response, Zhan Zhao rolled his eyes at him, "I have class later in the afternoon. I can't bring a gun to school now, can I?"

 "It's precisely because you're going to school that you should bring a gun with you! I've already told you to stop giving these lessons."

"You!! Teaching is my interest!!"

"Aren't all the students that attend your class girls? They're not there to learn, they're just there to stare at you!" Bai Yutang stated while giving Zhan Zhao the side-eye.

When they've arrived on Basement 2, the elevator doors opened and the two of them walked out. A visibly upset Zhan Zhao was forcefully dragged into the shooting range by Bai Yutang.

Standing at the shooting position, Zhan Zhao put on the shooting earmuffs and picked up a gun. Then, he vehemently shot at the target before him. Bai Yutang who was standing behind him was alarmed by that sight. He felt like Zhan Zhao was picturing the target as him.

Zhan Zhao was actually imagining the target as Bai Yutang, because the latter had hit his sore spot. Zhan Zhao really enjoys having classes, he likes having academic discussions with the students. But for some reason, the students, especially the girls, started to make him think of the creature that howls at the full moon. What's more aggravating was that the girls in his class started to increase and they're not even from the course. Last time, someone even asked him if he had a boyfriend... So aggravating!!

Bai Yutang pressed the button which moved the target right in front of them. Seeing the target, he gasped—— 6 shots were fired, yet there were only 3 holes on the target...

"Kitty Zhan!!" Bai Yutang yelled, "How did you even pass the shooting exam back then??"

Zhan Zhao turned away, muttering in internally, "Ignoring you for an hour!"

Bai Yutang's face distorted in anger as he yelled on, "I remember giving you special training and your aim was pretty good!"

"That's why I passed the exam," Zhan Zhao continued replying in his heart.

Rage!! Bai Yutang stretched his hand in front of Zhan Zhao and adjusted the time on his watch to 1 hour later before demanding, "Speak!!"

Zhan Zhao gave him a look and finally opened his mouth, "I stopped practising after that..."

Bai Yutang spoke between clenched teeth, "Do you know that if the person carrying firearms can't shoot, it's the same as a person who can't drive sitting behind the steering wheel? You'd endanger other people's lives."

Zhan Zhao knew that he's in the wrong and murmured, "That's why I stopped carrying a gun..."

After taking a deep breath, Bai Yutang returned the target back to its original position and placed the gun in Zhan Zhao's hands on the table. He then kneeled down to take out a pocket pistol from the hidden pocket by his ankle, and handed it to Zhan Zhao, "Use this instead!"

Zhan Zhao took the gun and asked in surprise, "Remington M101?"

This time, it was Bai Yutang who was a little surprised, "For someone who can't shoot, you actually know your stuff."

"Bai Yutang, this is illegal possession of firearms!" Zhan Zhao shouted while pointing straight at Bai Yutang's nose.

"I have the gun permit issued by the government!!" Bai Yutang clarified, "I am a policeman"

Zhan Zhao raised the gun and questioned, "This gun is not even available in this country!! Was this also given to you by your brother?"

Bai Yutang replied while scratching his head, "Yeah."

Zhan Zhao felt much better after teasing him for a bit. So he obediently raised his gun and aimed...

"Wait," Bai Yutang called for Zhan Zhao to pause, before walking behind him and holding his arm to help him aim.

"Look forward, hold the trigger and make sure your eyes are aligned with the bullseye..."

 And the next 6 shots all hit the target.

Zhan Zhao turned his head blissfully while proclaiming, "I am a genius after all!"

Bai Yutang took the gun from his hand, and unloaded the magazine to reload the bullets, "That's because your coach is good!"

Zhan Zhao picked up the training gun from before, "Look forward, hold the trigger and make sure your eyes are aligned with the bullseye..."

After he was done, there were 4 holes and the 2 didn't hit the mark...

"White mouse! I get it now! You're so good at shooting only because you have a good gun!" Zhan Zhao said indignantly.

"I doubt it has got anything to do with the gun."

"Of course there is! The one you gave me is lighter!"

"That's because your fundamentals are not good and your arms are too weak! I've told you to practice more!"

"It's definitely related!"

"It is not!"

"Yes!"

"No!

Zhan Zhao froze for a moment and contemplated for a bit before replying, "There's that possibility... for sure."

"You have class in the afternoon, don't you?" Bai Yutang asked suddenly

"I'm coming with you."
