In the shadows corridors of St. Anne orphanage

Yuna's heart races as she clutches the arm of a fellow orphan, Elias.

And pulls him away from the line-up for breakfast.

The library looming before them like a haven of secrets waiting to be unraveled.

As they slip into a hidden alcove in the library, Yuna's eye glitter with foreboding.

Yuna

Have you noticed, Elias? *she whispers urgently.*

Yuna

People who go to Mrs Anne's office or visit them always seem to disappear. Something is not right here.

Elias glance at her skeptically, his voice tinged with doubt.

Elias

Perhaps they've found adoptive parents and left the orphanage. You're overthinking, Yuna.

But Yuna shakes her head.

Yuna

No, Elias. There's more to it. I can feel it in my bones. What if something sinister is happening to them?

Elias

*sighs, his brow furrowing* You shouldn't jump to conclusions. Maybe they've found happiness with a new family.

He tries to reassure her, but Yuna's eyes remain clouded with worry.

Yuna

What if you're next, Elias? *she pressed, her voice barely above a whisper.* Would you still want to believe in a happy ending then?

Elias

*hesitate, a flicker of fear crossing his face.* I-I...well, of course. I would be happy to find a family. * he stammers, trying to mask his unease.*

But Yuna's gaze hold a deep sense of dread as she whispers.

Yuna

To go missing and die mysteriously, Elias... that's something that should strike fear in even the bravest of hearts.

Elias

*remain silent, Yuna's words settling on him.*
